This sermon promises to ignite your spirit with a powerful call to worship and praise, as we gather to honor Jesus and celebrate the countless blessings we've received. Through heartfelt exhortations and vibrant energy, we encourage you to focus on the privilege of praising God and recognizing His unwavering strength and provision. As we express appreciation for Pastor Walt and his family's leadership, we explore how unity in faith sets the foundation for a community bonded by spiritual growth.
Can personal testimony change lives? Inspired by the Samaritan woman at the well, we delve into the transformative power of sharing God's word as we approach 2025. Emphasizing the call to step beyond personal agendas, we explore the need for believers to deepen their spiritual commitment and prepare for the spiritual challenges of 2025. The sermon highlights the importance of prayer, fasting, and the Holy Spirit's guidance to empower us as true witnesses for God.
As we stand strong in the face of upcoming trials, the sermon closes with an uplifting reminder of God's healing and provision. Embrace the belief in His promises, and let faith guide you as you seek connection and community within the church. With anticipation and hope for what 2025 holds, we urge you to maintain a strong relationship with God and be a beacon of love and truth in your daily life. Intro and outro created by Joe Anderson Jr. of Truflava Productions
Come on bless him, bless him, bless him bless him, Hallelujah Jesus. Now, do yourself a favor and give God a sure enough praise.
Speaker 1:Come on, it's an honor, it's a blessing, to give him a praise of the day. Come on, somebody, bless him, bless him. Move yourself for just a few minutes and give him a sure enough praise. Come on, bless them, bless them, bless them. You can do better than that. Come on, it's the last Sunday of the year. Whatever place we do have a season, be in the house of God. Somebody didn't wake up this morning. Come on, somebody.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah, it's a blessing and honor to praise Him, to praise Him. How many know he's worthy? Our God is worthy of all to praise. Come on and praise him. Go up, bless him, come back. How many need a blessing this afternoon? It's time to bless him. It's time to praise him. How many know it's not about me, it's not about you, it's all about him. It's all about Jesus. Glory, hallelujah, my strong power, jesus, my provider, jesus. Anybody know anything about him? Come on, bring it. Bring it for us. Come on, we want to let the Father tribulate. The Father, he went to us, hallelujah, you still did today. Glory, hallelujah, hallelujah, to try to tribulate. But God has been good to us, hallelujah, you still live today. Glory, hallelujah, hallelujah, you can take your seat. Come on, hallelujah, I don't plan to be up here alone.
Speaker 2:Hallelujah, hallelujah. Don't believe you might just miss it, come on.
Speaker 1:Come on, we're going to roll through here. We're going to hey, my God, my might just miss it. Come on. Come on, we're going to roll through here. We're going to hey, my God, my God, my God, he's in the building. How many know he's here? Woo, all right, it's all right to praise him. Come on, don't let the year go out without a praise. This Sunday, the last Sunday of the year, what do you have to give us today? Come on, is he not worthy? God is worthy. Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo.
Speaker 2:God bless you.
Speaker 1:Whatever you need, he's here right now All you gotta do is rip out your face and receive it. Woo hey, thank you, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, jesus.
Speaker 2:That's been a minute for me, come on.
Speaker 1:Glory to God, but it's a new day.
Speaker 2:Come on somebody. It's a new day, god's doing a new thing. Glory to God. Bless his name, bless his name. Bless his name, hallelujah, come on, praise him. Praise him, just give him another hand, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah.
Speaker 2:We're going to get right into the word Praise God, hallelujah, hallelujah. We're going to get right into the word Praise God, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, jesus. Nobody like Jesus, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. I do give honor to the Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, first in my life. Hallelujah, thank God for our pastor, pastor Walt. Come on, put those hands together for the mighty man of God.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 2:Hallelujah, hallelujah. I'm thankful to have my daughters here, candice and Latasha. Praise.
Speaker 1:God.
Speaker 2:Thank you for coming. Hallelujah, nothing like family Hallelujah. I've been telling Elder Jamal we can just do the benediction and go home, hallelujah, but we're going to give you what God has given me, hallelujah. The foundation was laid this morning. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:By the great.
Speaker 2:I call him Dr Anderson, hallelujah. And his message was do you believe that your decision have power? And then, on top of that, the great Reverend Wright, elder apostle. I got so many names. I still wonder. Glory to God, I said Lord after that, what? Else do we need to hear? But now that the foundation has been laid, hallelujah, God just gave me a message and we're going to be coming out. I'm going to go ahead and get the scripture ready. It's going to come out of John, the fourth chapter.
Speaker 2:I'm going to be talking about the Samaritan woman at the well. Glory to God. But when I was getting this message together, I found myself having to repent. Anybody know about that. Come on, that's what I love about my God. When you get out of order a little bit, he'll let you know if you have ears to hear. And he gave me a message.
Speaker 2:He said I want you to ask my people tell my people ask them a question and give them a statement, and it's the title of this message is can I get a witness? Go tell that. Can I get a witness? Go tell that. Can I get a witness? Go tell that. So after this morning, we learned about having you know making the right decision, that your decision have power, and also that I still wonder God is letting us know. Now that you have my word, I need you to take that word and go tell somebody. Can I get a witness? And I said, lord, we have been witnessing throughout the year, but God says I want you to take it to another level 2024,. Just think about it. What will have happened in your lifetime? How much witnessing did you really do? Come on, somebody.
Speaker 2:It's a tight word but it's a good word. God said I want you to go tell that. He says go tell my people that I need a witness and it's all about me. He says too many of us. It's all about me. He says too many of us have made it about us. We got stuck worrying about where we are and what we have and what we do not have. We've got our own plans and our own agendas. But God said it's all about me and I think they have lost it and forgot about it for just a little bit. But I'm here to remind you, my brothers and sisters, just like he reminded me. It's all about him. Can you go tell my people that it's all about me? Go tell that.
Speaker 2:He says a lot of times, what have happened is that we witness a lot of things. A lot of times we don't even really know how to properly witness what we want to call witnessing. But he says I want my people, in 2025, to go and study my word like they've never studied before. He said because it's getting late in the evening and I'm soon to come, but there's much work still to be done. He said in this work that I'm calling my disciples to. It goes beyond this building. Come on somebody. He said I'm stretching my people in 2025, those that will confidently walk up and go and do what I call them to do eat my words, seek my. He said. There's another level of my anointing that I'm going to take them, he said. But I need them to go and go deeper into the word of God. He said when you sell out to me, then God said I'm going to show out for you. I need you to sell out in order that I can show out. So we're going to dig into this and talk about witnessing today, and I know a lot of you would say well, evangelists, I already know how to witness. I witness all the time, I witness all the time. But really, you got to look at this thing. How much witnessing Is it impacting anybody? Is it making a change? Come on somebody. Come on.
Speaker 2:The Lord said I'm sending you into the highways and the byways, places you don't want to go. God said that's where the souls are. We thank God for the souls that comes into this building Sunday after Sunday. But God said there's more than that. He said but I need my people to go and hit the streets. I need my people to go and hit your neighborhoods. I need my people to go and tell your family that I am God, that I'm soon to come. He said go tell that. He said the only thing that matters at this day and time is my word, is to prepare yourself for the return of Jesus, he said, because I am coming and I'm coming for my people. He said but I need my disciples, those that are shown of disciples. Gird up, put on your whole armor and go do the work that I called you to do.
Speaker 2:So we're going to talk about what is a witness. How do we witness? And when I begin to just look at the word witness, it's a person who can testify to what they have seen, heard or encounter, what they have heard or encounter. Encounter what they have heard or encounter. Therefore, they believe and counted to be true, validated facts because of their own personal encounter. The Lord says, and because a lot of people have said I know Jesus, but they really don't know who he really is. A lot of people is operating off of what they have been told, what they have heard, but the personal relationship is lacking because of lack of quality time, spending time seeking God on your face, praying and fasting. You know we can come to church on Sunday. We can fool each other, but we can never fool God. Come on.
Speaker 2:But God said I am looking for a people that is now going to show enough. Be my witness that's going to stand, a developed witness, one that has spent the time and spent the time on their knees praying and seeking my face. I need a witness. You would think, well, lord, we got enough witnesses. We working in the church, we on the usher board, we come to Bible study, we do all these things we do within the house and we think, well, that's it. But God said it goes beyond that. He said I didn't die for just you to do the work on the inside. I need you to go to the outside. He said.
Speaker 2:When I filled those disciples up in that upper room with the Holy Ghost, I gave them power to cast out devils. I gave them power to set the captive free. I gave them power to open up the blinded eyes. Come on somebody. And God said I'm going to do this in 2025 for those that will take hold of faith and walk and dare to be different. God said forget about your titles and your, because it's not about your titles and it's not about your position, but it's about the move of the power of the Holy Ghost. So what good is the Holy Ghost if we don't know how to operate in it? It's time for us to catch on fire. You know even the very shadow of Peter.
Speaker 2:When he walked by, people were healed. Where is that anointing? God said this is where I want to take my people. This is why I equipped you with the Holy Ghost. This is why I poured it out on you and gave you power over the devil. Come on, that's the power of the Holy Ghost. He said it through the power of the Holy Ghost. He said he came to lead God and to teach you into what All truth and when you get a hope to that truth. He said I sent them out two by two and they hit the streets. They died for the cause. How many of us would be willing to die for the cause? If it cost you your life, would you say I'll give it up. I think we might be surprised. Come on somebody.
Speaker 2:But God said I need a witness. I need a witness that will stand strong and be bold and be intentional and not be afraid, and will be encouraged to go and speak what I say. And God said if you don't do it, the rock's gonna cry out. But God said I've got a remnant. I got some people that were going. They don't have titles, he said, and I'm getting ready to set them on fire. He said don't be amazed at what you see. Come through the door. They may not look like you, they may not smell like you, he said, but these are the anointed ones that's coming. They's coming from the street, they're coming from every corner and they're going to care for my word and be who I called them to be.
Speaker 2:Go tell that. Can I get a witness? Let's go to the word of God. Let's go to John. Praise God, I'm getting ahead of myself. Thank you, jesus. Let's go to John, the fourth chapter. I want to talk about the Samaritan woman. She didn't have any titles and we're going to start around verse 39. That's where we're going to go. John, the fourth chapter, verse 39.
Speaker 2:Everybody know the story of the woman at the well, how she had an encounter with Jesus. She was as we would say. Some would say she's nobody. Jesus told her you had five husbands and the one you got now is not yours. Come on somebody. But she was. You know, know, in that day the Jews and the Samaritans didn't have no dealings. But because Jesus was an effective witness, come on, he spent time with whoever and anybody that wanted to receive him. So this woman at the well began to talk to Jesus. We know the story. And she began to let him know you know this well, jacob. She began to let him know. You know this well, jacob. This is the well of Jacob. The Jews don't mix here. We are Samaritans and Jews do not mix. But Jesus began to pour out to her, pour out the word and begin to reveal to her her own life story. And when she got a hold to that story, we're going to see in the passage of scripture what she did with it, how she began to be affected by the word of Jesus. She didn't have a title, she didn't have no great reputation, but because of what she heard out of the mouth of Jesus, her life would begin to transform by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 2:Let's look at John, the fourth chapter, verse 39. And we're going to go ahead and read that. I'm reading out the King James Version and it says that many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman which testified. He told me all that ever I did Go on to the next verse. He told me all that ever I did Go on to the next verse. So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them and he abhorred their two days. Next verse. And many more believed because of his own word. Go ahead to the next verse, own word. Go ahead to the next verse and said unto the woman now we believe, not because of thy saying, for we have heard him ourselves. And now that this is indeed the Christ, the savior of the world, you may be seated.
Speaker 2:Now what we have just read in this passage of scripture, that this woman at the well had an encounter with Jesus because he was a prophet. She perceived that he was a prophet and even the Messiah. She forgot what she came to the well to do. She came to draw water in the bucket, but the Bible tells us that she dropped the bucket and she ran back to town and she says come see a man, come on, that told me all about myself. Come on, come see a man. What did she do? She testified. Why? Because she just had an encounter with Jesus.
Speaker 2:Jesus said, just like that woman, I expect his disciples, us, his disciples, his children, to go tell somebody about his return. Go tell somebody that he is Christ, he is the Savior. But what we have done, we have got too complacent in our seats. We have got too complacent in who we think we are. Come on when Jesus has said it's all about him. So I'm going to ask you today do you know who he really is? Have you had a real encounter with Jesus? How much time do we really spend in his presence? See, we can come in here, jump, shout, that's okay, that's good. But we can't make it off just to shout. How many know? You got to have a relationship with the father. You got to have a strong relationship, because what's coming in 2025, it's no joke.
Speaker 2:Blessings is coming, yes, but also, believe me, the enemy have turned up the heat. People are worried about the nation. We're talking about everything, but what the word of God is saying. God says I need somebody to talk about me. Go tell them who I am. It doesn't matter what's taking place in the country, it doesn't matter who the president is. Come on somebody. All you need to do is just pray for them. Pray for them, keep it moving and keep it real. But what's coming up out of us? We talk about everything, but what's happening in the word of God? We got to be good stewards over the word. He have given us power over the enemy. He gave us his Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit have come to lead, guide and to teach us into all truth.
Speaker 2:Since we have that, why is it we are so confused? Why do we get so complacent? Why are we so disturbed when things don't go our way? Why do we get so upset because somebody does not agree with me? Come on, we should be so deep in a place in Christ that it does not matter whether you're like me or you do like me. It's time for us to know who we are and stand on that and not be moved. The Bible tells us that we are to love one another, despite whether they love us back. We have to love them.
Speaker 2:See, when you spend that time on your knees praying and fasting and seeking God. Now you're ready to go out and be a witness unto whatever God called you to do. You won't be so disturbed when somebody talk about you. You won't get so upset when you think, well, I should have had that position. You got to know who you are and know what you've been called to do. You got to know. It's yes, it's not. I keep saying, it's not about your titles, it's not about what you've been called by, whoever.
Speaker 2:A lot of us are waiting for approval of our pastor. We're waiting for approval of the great bishop Come on. We're waiting for approval of the apostle. But Jesus said did I not call you? Did I not appoint you? Did I not qualify you? Do you not know who you are by now? Come on, somebody, go tell that. See, when you get your true identity, you won't be moved because somebody don't recognize. Long as you are recognized by the father, long as you got a relationship with the father, long as you hear the voice of the father, then you will be able to go and do what God called you to do, don't you know? Nothing can stop you, but you, the devil can't even stop you. God gave you power over the enemy. So why are you sweating? Why are you worried? Why are you disappointed? Come on somebody.
Speaker 2:When I apply myself in the word and when I stay on my knees praying and fasting, and when I get up, I know everything's going to be all right. It may not look like it today, but I know it's coming, because great is he that's in me than he that's in the world. Come on somebody. So it doesn't matter what anyone thinks. I'm going to stand on the word of God. I'm going to be a witness unto my Lord and Savior. When I open up my mouth, I'm going to tell you what Jesus said. It's not about what I said or it's not about what they said, but it's about what did God say? What did his word say? That's what we stand on, that's what we believe. That is what he expects us to do in 2025. So it's important.
Speaker 2:Saints of God, get ready, because a shift has taken place and a greater shift is going to take place. I thank God for being in this ministry. It's new to me, but I already see what God is doing and the greater things that he's going to do, and what he expects us to do is to grab hope to the vision and stand behind it. We may not understand it, but we got to stand and push and go forward. Come on, somebody.
Speaker 2:It's time to hit the highways. It's time to hit the byways. Come on, it's time to talk to your neighbor in the grocery store. God said, said, I'm getting ready to do something. When you walk in the grocery store, if you dare to believe me and stay prayed up when you walk in that grocery store, the anointing gonna hit that person sitting beside you. Come on, somebody. When they see you coming, they're gonna know there's something different about you. They're gonna know that you've been with Jesus. They're gonna know that you have spent time with the Savior and you don't even have to open up your mouth. Go tell that, so be a witness unto the Lord. Let everybody know that God is real, that he loves us and he's a healer and he is a deliverer. So it's time, church, for us to reset. Whatever I did in 2024 is not enough. I've got to take it to the next level in 2025.
Speaker 2:The Lord told me this morning when I was getting dressed. He said you've been walking around and crawling like a turtle for way too long. A turtle that's small. That's small walking. That's creeping along. You know you sit back and you just wait, but God said no more. It's time for you to rise and stand and be who I called you to be. Come on, somebody. It's time to get out of the box. Come on. Don't let nobody put you in the box. Don't allow that to take place. If you have the Holy Ghost, you've been baptized in the Holy Ghost with fire. Come on somebody. What else do you need? That's all the power that you need. But we got to learn how to be obedient to the Holy Spirit. We got to learn how to listen, have an ear to hear, be slow to speak and quick to listen. Come on, because he's talking and he's moving. In this season he's moving. He's moving Seniors.
Speaker 2:While I was sitting right there, I heard the Lord said tell my seniors that I have not forgotten them. Tell them that the days is not over. Tell them there's new beginnings in 2025. Come on somebody. He said. I'm going to strengthen you, I'm going to rebuild you because you will become the pillars of the church like never before. You are much needed. I know a lot of times we, the seniors, feel like we're just pushed aside and now my time is over. But God said not so, not so. So stand strong. Women of God, men of God, hold your head up high, know who you are, stand on the word of God, because God is getting ready to shift. Yes, he's moving through the young people, but he also going to move through the seniors. Come on, somebody. It's a new day, new things are coming and it's up to you whether or not you walk in those blessings. Nothing can stop you but you. So you got to have the right mindset when you get up in the morning. Have Jesus on your mind Throughout the day. Have Jesus on your mind Throughout the day. Have Jesus on your mind.
Speaker 2:Speak what the word of God says. When somebody bring you something negative, speak positive to it. Speak life into it. A lot of times, when I hear things and my daughters will bring me something, I'll say what did God say? They, looking for an answer, want me to give the answer. But my first answer is going to be what did God say?
Speaker 2:It's important that you connect to God for yourself, that you know him for yourself. So when you do that, nothing will move you, nothing will shake you. Not sickness, not disease, when things attack your body, you're going to be able to pray it off yourself. You ain't going to have to wait till you get to the church, because God said lay hands on yourself, speak the word. Speak my word, woman of God. Speak my word, man of God, and watch what take place. Come on somebody.
Speaker 2:Many a days I've had to lay hands on myself and pray for myself because I couldn't get to nobody else. Come on. But the Lord said didn't I not give you the Holy Ghost? Then? Is that not the power, is that not your resource, to take care of everything that you need? Speak my word and stand on it. Come on somebody. Go tell that. So it's time for us to go spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, for us to be true disciples. Come on that God will be pleased with us Because he's coming, saints. He's coming, but there's still work to be done and he's counting on you and on me to do it, and if we choose not to, he'll find somebody else. So we can't think it's all about us. No, it's not about us, but it's all about Jesus. So go tell that, hallelujah. I'm almost finished. I'm winding things up.
Speaker 2:Isaiah 43 and 10 says you are my witnesses and my servant, whom I have chosen, jesus have chose you. Man did not choose you Now, if man did, then you in trouble. If man had placed you in positions that you shouldn't be, you in trouble. Come on somebody. We have to be called by the Lord and when the Lord, whom the Lord, choose, he qualifies, he justifies, he qualifies, come on somebody. And you got to know that and stand on that, and that way you don't have to push and shove and worry about anything else because God got us all go that. Can I find a witness? Can he count on you and me? Because that is so important. And when we have the power of the Holy Spirit moving in us, people will know. They will know Because they see by the way you carry yourself, they hear it by what comes up out of your mouth.
Speaker 2:Come on, god said it's time for us to walk in the Holy Ghost. Have time for us to walk in the Spirit, not walking in our flesh. We don't walk too long in our flesh. We don't answer questions too much from our flesh and that's why we get no results from it. Because it's your flesh. There's no power in your flesh. There's no anointing in your flesh, the anointing and the power is in the Holy Ghost. How many got the Holy Ghost in this room today? You should know what you have. It's time to operate in it and be not afraid.
Speaker 2:Go forth and do the work of the Lord. Praise God, I thank God for the Lord. We got the prison ministry that's taking off, the evangelistic ministry. Praise God, god is doing some mighty, mighty, mighty things. He is doing some mighty, mighty things, but we got to stand and go forth and be strong in the Lord. Hold your head up. Know who you are.
Speaker 2:God said be who I called you to be. Please don't try to be like nobody else, because it will not work. I can't preach like Pastor Walt. I won't dare try. Come on, I won't dare try to preach like Elder Jamal over here. I'll be wore out, can't do it, but you find your own place. Can't do it, but you find your own place. Just find your own place and be obedient to God. God will use it. Is there a word from the Lord? Yes, he will use you if you open up your mouth and speak what he says. He said I'm looking for disciples that will go and speak my word, that will go and be my witness, a strong witness. I pray that you have got something out of this today.
Speaker 2:Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Jesus, hallelujah, god is good, he's been good to me, he's been mighty good to me. I thank God. He brought me from a mighty long ways and he's still doing things in me. May not look like it, but he is. I'm happy about my God. I'm happy about Jesus. I'm glad I know who he is. I'm glad I don't have to fake it until I make it. Come on. I'm glad I don't have to push my way through the crowd Because I know wherever I am. That's where he is. Because I have that communion with him, I spend the time with him. Come on, come on somebody. That's very important that we do that. So, as I get ready to take my seat, hallelujah, jesus.
Speaker 2:Is there anyone in this building today? Hallelujah, they don't know this Jesus that I'm talking about. Maybe you have dropped the ball. Maybe things have happened in your life that caused you to Take a back seat. Maybe there's problems have come that knocked the wind out of you. But God said I'm a restorer, I'm a healer, I'm a deliverer. Whatever you're facing right here today, god said this could be your day, your hour. All you got to do is just step out. If you need anything from the Lord, meet me here at the altar. Jesus is here to fulfill every purpose, every plan. If it's sickness, if it's disease, it doesn't matter. God said I'm a healer, come on. He is our healer, our provider Jehovah Jireh. Our provider, jehovah.
Speaker 2:Rapha our healer, you need healing. Come on, come and receive it. Today we're gonna walk in faith, believing that God is going to do what looks impossible. The doctors may say it's impossible, nothing he can do, but our God is the healer. He said by his stripes, you are healed. So we come into touch and put our faith with your faith that whatever you're facing and need right now, that God is going to work it out. Come on, somebody.
Speaker 1:Come on somebody, Anyone else, anyone else?
Speaker 2:Glory to God, glory to God.
