Chosen City Church Sermons
It's In The Word | Isaiah 55:11 | Pastor Walter Bowers Jr.
Pastor Walt delivers a passionate call for believers to rediscover the transformative power of God's Word as the ultimate source of breakthrough, guidance, and spiritual nourishment in their lives.
• The Word of God comes to us in five different forms: God's direct speech, personal address, through human lips, written scripture, and Jesus Christ himself
• Modern society has reduced the Word to sound bites and application without proper interpretation
• Like a tree planted by water, those who meditate on God's Word have strong roots and bear fruit in every season
• The enemy tries to steal the Word through lack of understanding, shallow roots, or letting worldly concerns crowd it out
• Isaiah 55 extends four invitations: to eat and drink from God's provision, to listen for true life, to seek the Lord while He can be found, and to understand God's higher thoughts
• Every need, answer, and breakthrough you seek is already available in the Word
• God's Word never returns void but accomplishes everything He intends
If you've been blessed by today's message, I encourage you to bring your physical Bible to church each week. There's power in reconnecting with the written Word, marking passages that speak to you, and building your faith through consistent study of God's promises.
Welcome To Chosen City Church! We are excited to you have worship with us today and we pray that this sermon blesses you!

I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered. That's why I trust him. That's why I trust him.
Speaker 2:Y'all start a chant and the words of the chant is just going to simply be the words of the song. That little hook, I sought the Lord and he heard, and he answered. Let's start our chant. Come on, come on, get on the beat.
Speaker 1:I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered.
Speaker 2:Every voice, every voice, every voice.
Speaker 1:I sought the Lord and he heard, and he answered Y'all sound good. I sought the Lord and he heard, and he answered Now musicians, I want y'all to play it out.
Speaker 2:Y'all keep chanting, don't stop, just keep on. I want y'all to fade out. Y'all keep chanting, don't stop. No, no, no, just keep on. I saw the Lord, just right there, that's it. Stay on that, just stay on that, just stay on that. Now, musicians, y'all fade out, y'all fade, y'all fade out. I want to hear the people that's it, right there.
Speaker 1:Y'all there, just stay right there just stay right there, just stay right there, that's it, that's it right there.
Speaker 3:That's it, shh everybody, everybody, everybody, every voice, every voice, every voice every voice, come on, every voice every voice.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, right there, every voice, yeah, yeah, right there, father, in the name of Jesus, your people are seeking you right now Do you hear them, God they're seeking you right now. You hear them, God. They're seeking you right now.
Speaker 2:They're seeking you right now. You hear them, god. They're seeking you right now. They're seeking you right now. You hear them, god. You hear them, lord. We're seeking you right now, god. But what's amazing, god is there's so much faith. In this chant, we're already declaring, god, that you heard us, we're already declaring that you have answered God, and so for that, god, we say thank you, we say thank you, we say thank you, we say thank you. We say thank you for every mountain you brought us over, for every trial you've seen us through.
Speaker 2:For every blessing, god, we say hallelujah For this. We give you praise Three more times, three more times, two more times.
Speaker 1:I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered.
Speaker 2:One more time, like you mean it?
Speaker 1:I sought the Lord and he heard and he answered.
Speaker 2:Now. Give him some glory, like he already answered it. Give him some glory like it's already done. Give him some glory like he's already made a way in this place. I sought the Lord. He heard Jesus. There's something about the name of Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah Jesus, hallelujah Jesus. Somebody?
Speaker 1:say Jesus.
Speaker 2:Woo Woo Jesus. Somebody say, there's something about the name of Jesus. Somebody say there's something about the name of Jesus. There's something about the name of Jesus. It is sweet, I know. Oh, how I love to call the name Jesus. That's it right. There, come on somebody.
Speaker 1:There's something about the name Jesus.
Speaker 2:We won't be here long, but we just got to give him some glory. Something about the name Jesus it is sweet, y'all, it's sweet. It is the sweetest name, the sweetest name I know. Oh, how I love to call his name, oh how I love the name Jesus.
Speaker 1:Oh, how I love the name Jesus. It is the sweetest name.
Speaker 2:I know. Father, in the name of Jesus, have your way in this space, speak like only you can. And, oh Lord, at the end of it all, we'll be careful to give your name all the glory for every miracle, give your name all the honor for every breakthrough, give your name all the praise for all the transformation. It's. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray. Let the people of God say amen, amen amen.
Speaker 3:To God be the glory. To God be the glory.
Speaker 2:To God be the glory. There's a word that comes today from Isaiah, the 55th chapter, verse 11, isaiah 55, verse 11. We'll be reading one scripture together and we'll read it out loud, because it helps us to remember what God is saying. And so that's what I want to do right now, under this atmosphere that you all have set for a miracle, this atmosphere that is invited in the presence of the Lord, that is, invite this, this atmosphere that is said. Lord, you are welcome here. Isaiah 55, verse 11, calls our attention. Let's read it together, ready set, read. It is the same with my word. I send it out and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to and it will prosper everywhere I send it. And I would just like to use family as a subject today, and we'll use this subject as we journey towards Pentecost. I would just like to use it as a subject today. It's in the Word. Can you turn to somebody and say it's in the Word? Say it like you mean it. It's in the Word. It's in the word. Can you turn to somebody and say it's in the word? Say it like you mean it. It's in the word. It's in the word. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord.
Speaker 2:Some of the things that the Lord has placed on my heart to share with you may sound too simple to be impactful. To be impactful, but we have to go with what God has given us and not become so familiar with church phrases that we miss out on what God is saying today. And the Lord has given me a simple phrase to start this message off. The Lord told me to tell you off. The Lord told me to tell you not that you need a new Maybach or a new Gator boots and a Gucci suit. He didn't tell me to tell you today Not that your boo thing was going to be on Publix on aisle six. If you go down with your red bottoms on, he will supply all of you. He didn't give me that today. The Lord told me to tell you today and he's been telling me to tell you this, screaming at me. He told me to tell you a simple phrase.
Speaker 2:Lord said tell the people that you serve. We need the word. I said see, that was too simple for y'all already. I know. I know you wanted something deeper. Maybe I should have said it in Greek, hebrew or Espanol. I'm not sure Greek, hebrew or Espanol, I'm not sure, but the Lord told me to tell you that simply is this we need the word.
Speaker 2:The Lord has said that amen, that every problem has an answer and the answer is found in the word. And the Lord says that some of us have become so familiar with our faith that we don't believe that anymore. We live in a society, y'all, where the word has been reduced to sound bites. The word has been reduced to application, without proper interpretation, because the Holy Spirit says there is only one interpretation of the word. But we can apply it in a lot of ways. The word has to become the priority in our life, even our worship. You can't have authentic worship without the word. There is no deliverance without the word. We can't even find purpose without the word. The Lord says that the word is so powerful that in the book of Psalm, he gave us something that helps us understand the power of the word. He said this is why you need the word chosen city.
Speaker 2:Psalm 1,. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth at the seat of the scornful. But somebody say but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Did y'all hear what said in verse one into? God is saying that when the word is everything to you, he says that you are blessed because you're being guided not by the world, not by politics, not by stats, not by social media. You're being guided by what God has to say for your life. And he says that you are blessed when you meditate on it day and night.
Speaker 2:Lord, what happens to me when I meditate on the word day and night? Well, verse 3 says that you shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season. His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Did you hear what I said? The Lord said that you are going to be like a tree planted by the rivers of the water. Do I have any people that like agriculture? Do you know how strong the roots of a tree are that are planted by water? Because they have an ever-ongoing and continuous supply of everything that they need and because of that they are more fruitful than the trees that are in a drought. Let me say that one more time as somebody that came to church. You are in a drought. You have been looking high, you have been looking low, you have been looking everywhere for what you need and God says everything that you need is in the Word. Yeah, everything that we need is in the Word.
Speaker 2:In verse 4, he says but the ungodly are not like you, because they are like shaft with driveth, with the wind driveth away. And the reality of it is is that there are some believers in the room. You have been like shaft. Now you may not know what shaft is because you you know, you got a job in a cubicle, but the farmers will tell you that wheat has shaft. There's a good part of the wheat and then there's the shaft. That's the leftover, that's the residue, and the wind blows the shaft away because the shaft has no substance, it has no weight to it, and the reason that some believers get blown away by everything that comes their way is because they don't have any substance. They don't have any weight to them, they're not firmly planted. That's why, the moment something goes wrong in your life, all of a sudden, you don't pray like you used to. That's why, the moment that God doesn't answer your prayer on your timing, that's why you don't worship like you used to. But God is saying I'm looking for a crowd of people that understand that everything that they need is in the word, and they need to be planted in order to be fruitful. I thought you said you wanted to produce. I thought it was told to you that this was your season of productivity. Well, the word declares that it's going to happen for you. But it's going to happen.
Speaker 2:Where In the word Can I help you to understand? Hebrews 4, verse 12 tells us that the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Psalm 119, 105 says Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. That's why we used to sing songs by GMWA, which used to simply say order my steps.
Speaker 2:Where In your word? Order my tongue. Where In your word? Guide my feet. Where y'all In your word, show me how to walk. Y'all in your word. Because, god, if my language is not guided in your word, I'm most likely to cuss the person out that got on my last nerve. If my feet are not guided in your word, I'm most likely to go somewhere that I have no business going. If my heart is not guided in your word, I'm subject to put it in the hands of somebody that will break my heart again. I need God's word to order every step of my life.
Speaker 2:And because the word is what we need, in our Bible study on Wednesday, one of our most highly attended Bible studies in person, we had a great discussion on the doctrine of the word of God Family. I need you to doctrine of the word of God Family. I need you to understand that the word is so important that you even need to have a deeper understanding of how God sends his word by way of special delivery. God sends his word. We talked about in Bible study that when you study systematic theology, you'll understand that the word of God is so important to you. He'll send it in at least five different ways to make sure that you don't miss the message. Well, who wouldn't serve a God like this? God says I am so concerned about you getting the word. I'm going to send it in at least five different ways to make sure that you don't miss the message.
Speaker 2:We see in the book of Genesis the word of God as speech by God. Somebody say speech by God. When we see the word of God as speech by God, it is literally God speaking a thing and by a declaration of God it comes to pass. We see this in Genesis when God simply said let there be light. When God speaks, something has to be manifested. When God speaks, something comes into existence. When God spoke in the book of Genesis, animals started walking around. When God spoke in the book of Genesis, cockroaches came under your refrigerator. Y'all get what I'm saying. When God speaks, it manifests something in our life. That's one way that God delivers his word.
Speaker 2:When God says I'm going to say it myself, but then there's God's word of personal address. Somebody say personal address. It's those times where God doesn't speak to the atmosphere and doesn't speak to the water and doesn't speak to the dirt. He speaks to a man or woman of God personally. He spoke to Isaiah in Isaiah, the sixth chapter, and commissioned him to be a prophet, to the nations chapter and commissioned him to be a prophet to the nations. He spoke to Moses in the book of Exodus when he was up in the mountain through a burning bush, and he spoke to God personally. Now it's interesting because the reality is that most of us have never experienced the word of God from a personal address, and even in Bible study about half the people were honest and say I love God and I know he's real, but he never just spoke to me personally like that. But hold on. If he's never called you by name personally, I got some good news for you. I'm going to save it for a few more seconds.
Speaker 2:The third way that God speaks, because he doesn't want us to miss the message, is that God's word will come through human lips. Somebody say human lips. Yeah, this same Isaiah that God spoke to in the book of Isaiah, the sixth chapter. He put a word in Isaiah's mouth, just like he put a word in Jeremiah's mouth, just like he put a word in Deborah's mouth. God will place a word in the mouth of a prophet or a prophetess when he wants to deliver a word to his people. He put a word in the mouth of all the prophets so that we can know what God was saying and we can know what area of our life needs to shift. He put a word in the mouth of the prophet so that we don't be surprised about the tricks of the enemy. You ought to thank God that every now and then God will place a word in the mouth of someone and that word will be just for you y'all.
Speaker 2:Let me tell you one of the things I enjoy about pastoring is when y'all come up and say Pastor Walt, have you been all up in my DMs? Have you been in my inbox? How did you know, pastor Walt, that it was going down like that? I said, pastor Walt, ain't no, nothing, because I had my own problems and I had my own honeydews. But God, god saw where you were and God said when you show up Sunday, I got a word for Joe. When you show up, I got a word for that person right there in that yellow. I got a word for him. Right now. I'm going to put it in you and you just give him what I said.
Speaker 2:And the thing about it is, because God does put his word. I wonder how many of you all in here that God has been trying to put his word in your mouth for somebody else but you have yet to give him a. Yes, that's three ways. Fourth way God's word in the written form. The first one God's word is speech. God's word is personal address. God's word is through human lips. God's word in the fourth one is God's word in the written form.
Speaker 2:That's why I've asked you all to do something very simple, but I believe it's going to be powerful and we're going to even have some books, some Bibles, to give away. But I believe there's some power in going back to the old school just a little bit and bringing these Bibles into the house of the Lord. You got to get back to the old days where you had that highlighter. You know Now, if you're from my church, what ain't gonna do. We ain't gonna pass out no funeral fans, because you know that went back back in my day. We had two things we had the church, but we had a bible and we had the funeral fan. I'm not gonna do that, but but but I am saying that there's some power when you can go through this bible and know it for yourself. God's written for him. When, when God put a word in Isaiah's mouth, everything that the Lord said to Isaiah, isaiah, would ultimately be written down.
Speaker 2:That was the fourth one and the fifth one, the word of God. Don't miss this one. The word of God as a person in Jesus Christ. John 1 says it like this in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. John 1, verse 14, says so. The Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness, and we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father's one and only Son. Revelation 19, verse 13,. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is the Word of God.
Speaker 2:My sisters and brothers, I'm trying to help you to see these five forms because God is saying however, I got to get it to you. You can't miss this message. The word of God, that's speech by God. The word of God is personal address. The word of God is speech through human lips. And the word of God in the written form, and the word of God as a person in Jesus Christ. And the good news for those people that said man, I want to feel God, I want to hear his voice. I got some good news that, because all of it is the word, did you hear what I said? All five forms is the word. If you believe the Bible, all five forms is the word.
Speaker 2:If you are a person that God has not audibly tickled your ear gate. You've heard from God. Every time you open this book. If you're a person that the prophet missed you last Sunday and didn't lay hands on you and tell you what God was saying, don't worry about the prophet missing you, because all you got to do is put your hand on this book and I'm trying to help you to understand. That's the problem, because we have an adversary. The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy, and one of the tactics that he's using is he's watering down the power of this book. That's why I'm going to date myself a little bit.
Speaker 2:Can I go back to the 90s? That's why some of y'all that was in the 90s are called that 900 hotline, because you needed a word from Miss Chloe, but Miss Chloe couldn't help you because you had come to the conclusion that what you needed couldn't be found in this book. Okay, okay, let me bring this up to the 2025. That's why you go down to the mall and get all that stuff that you got to burn in your house and smell like this and do like oh, I'm smelling real good today. That's why you bring all that stuff in your house, because, subconsciously, you've come to the conclusion that the word can't help you, and what I understand is is that you're in pain. I understand that you have some problems. I understand that you're looking for deliverance. I understand that you're looking for breakthrough and God loves you.
Speaker 2:But we can't minimize the fact that everything that we need is in the word. Business owners, go to every conference that you can Go to every seminar that you can Learn how to market, learn how to do customer service. But I'm here to tell you, every entrepreneur, that everything that you need is in the word. Your seven figure business idea is right here in the word. And if we ever get people to get excited about the power of the world, the word, the atmosphere shift. If you ever get people to get excited about the word, everything would look different. What's crazy? Can I just be honest about it?
Speaker 2:It's people that go from church to church looking for emotional experiences to replace the power of the word. It's people that come cry at the altar every Sunday, and that's good, we'll run 42 laps, and that's fine. I run about 40, on which I love it. Good, we'll run 42 laps and that's fine. I run by 40, on which I love it. But when we get to the point where we think that our emotionalism can replace this word. We got a problem in our faith. So the enemy has said I can't stop you from worshiping. But I wonder what I can do if I can get you to think that your worship is going to give you the deliverance that you need and keep you ignorant of what thus saith the Lord oh, I'm talking good today. I want, can I be real with y'all. This is not a, this is. This is a sermon to help somebody. I'm trying to bless you. I'm about to shift your life.
Speaker 2:We did a poll one time in Bible study and I said I'm going to see, because they were looking at me, like y'all looking at me. Now I said, okay, wise guys and girls, I'm going to see it right now. I said right now. I said Genesis, and I passed the microphone Exodus, let me pull right now. Genesis Preachers, be quiet. Exodus, what's next? Okay, y'all getting. What's next? What's next, what's next? Y'all getting quiet, what's next'all get quiet, what's next? Oh lord, they're laughing. You said, you said, and listen, it's light-hearted.
Speaker 2:But the bible, the world, the statistics are showing that we're living in the most biblically illiterate society of all time. And if I'm biblically illiterate, then I don't know what my breakthrough is if I'm biblically illiterate. I don't know where to find the answer to what God is saying. And what we're trying to say is there has to be a shift in the house. We have to be biblical scholars, every last one of us. Do y'all not see what's going on in our world? It's crazy in these streets.
Speaker 2:If there was any time I needed to understand what God was going on, I'm gonna be real. I can't trust CNN. I'm gonna be real. I can't trust CNN. I'm going to be real. I can't trust Fox News. I'm going to be real. I don't trust MSNBC. I'm going to be real. I don't trust ABC.
Speaker 2:Is there any word from the Lord? And the word reminds us through the prophet Isaiah. And I believe God gave us Isaiah because Isaiah is the embodiment of all of the forms of the word. You see, the world and Israel was in trouble and when the world was in trouble, the Lord sends a response. We read the book of Isaiah.
Speaker 2:There are some chapters leading up to Isaiah 55. They're known as the servant songs. Everybody say the servant songs. There are four servant songs that describe the suffering and exaltation of our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ. But the servant songs help us to understand what God was doing when there was a problem in the world, because whenever there is a problem, god will always send a servant and, believe it or not, family.
Speaker 2:The first servant that God elected to resolve the sin problem was the people of Israel. Isaiah, the 43rd chapter, the first song of the servant song. The word was given first to Israel. Remember God's promise to Abraham to make him the father of many nations and Israel named after Jacob. They were commissioned by God to bring darkness, to bring light into dark spaces and to bring salvation into the world. So God gave Israel his word to be an example to a world that was lost. Y'all walking with me, you see, everybody else didn't pray to God, everybody else didn't love God, but Israel was God's chosen people and he said I'm gonna put the word of Moses in your heart, I'm gonna put this word in you, and y'all share it with your neighbors and you share it with your co-workers and you share it with your friends. But what happened was, instead of Israel being an influence in the world, guess what happened? Y'all know what happened the world influenced Israel, ooh-wee. And so what happens is because Israel could not fulfill the mission because of what it was going through, and they fell again and again.
Speaker 2:God did not give up on Israel. Can I take a side alley right there and tell somebody that you are anointed and you are gifted? But if you want to be honest, you've had some failures. But I got some good news. Israel stands as a witness that even when I give up on God, he'll never give up on me. That, even though that I am anointed, my mess up does not eradicate the call that is on my life. Yeah, I want to encourage somebody that has messed up this week.
Speaker 2:Shout out to about the 17 of y'all that had a real bad week or a real bad month. I just came to prophesy and let you know that God has not given up on you. I just came to prophesy and let you know that God is still about to use you. I came to let you know that when God sees that the mission is too big for you to handle right now, he doesn't give up on you. But he jumped into the ring with you. Good God, almighty, do I have any witnesses that could testify that? You know that God called you to do something and you tried to do it and you started to mess it up a little bit. But God didn't fire you. He jumped in the ring with you.
Speaker 2:I thank God for jumping in the ring with me as I've been trying to raise my family, because sometimes I don't do it always right. I thank God for jumping in the ring with me as I try to pastor, because sometimes I don't do it always right. I thank God for every time he's called me to do something, he's been willing to jump in the ring with me and he says Israel, oh, you messed up big time. Israel, oh, you didn't listen to me. Israel, oh, you worship idol gods. But I'm not going to give up on you, israel, I'm going to jump in the ring with you.
Speaker 2:What does it look like when God jumps in the ring with you? Well, the Bible declares down through 42 generations that God sent his servant, the Messiah. He sent the word of God. Did you all hear what I said? Because of everything that was going on and because Israel couldn't fix it by himself, god sent the word Help me, holy Ghost, so they could catch this, and maybe they'll never treat the word of God the same. Help me, holy Ghost, to throw this in a way that they can receive it. I'm trying to help you to understand when, when there was a problem and Israel couldn't get it right, he sent the word.
Speaker 2:You think, when Jesus. Let me say it just like this Jesus is the word, and I think sometimes we miss over the fact that this ain't another book. You see, grandma didn't have the theology and education that you had. Thank you, holy Ghost. I had to give it to her the way they can catch it.
Speaker 2:But anybody was raised, like me. When you walk in Grandma's house, there was always the word open laying on the coffee table. Anybody else grew up like that Because Grandma understood that this just wasn't a book. Now notice, she didn't have the Sears magazine open on the front table. No, she had this open because she understood something that we don't understand that this ain't just an ordinary book, because John 1 and 1 said in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. And verse 14 of that same one said that Jesus is the Word. And that's how to help somebody right now to understand that. If I want power, I got to understand that Jesus is the is the word, and that's how to help somebody right now to understand that if I want power. I got to understand that Jesus is the word and when God was trying to send an answer to the problem, he sent what he sent the word. That's why grandma had it on the table. That's why the Gideons, in 1908, went on a mission.
Speaker 2:And in 1908 the Gideons went on a mission. Elder David, they went on a mission. Y'all know what that mission was. Their mission was to put a Bible in every hotel room across the globe. And I said dang, he is everywhere. Shout out to everybody that's been in the hotel room. You feeling some type of way right about now Because you discovered that the word is everywhere, that you go. Amen somebody.
Speaker 2:I wish I had some real people in the room. I wish I had some folk in the room on me. I got a yesterday pastor If he had showed up at A&T homecoming and that motel six. God Lord, have mercy. I wish I had a witness in the room that don't mind me and honest. God Lord, have mercy. I wish I had a witness in the room that don't mind me and honest and say that the Gideons and your grandma understood that there was some power in the word. But here's the reality of this power that's in the word. While the word may be on your grandma's coffee table and the Gideons did a good job of putting the word in most hotel rooms the word is a seed Somebody say a seed, and a seed can only activate unless it's planted in the proper place. So, unfortunately, there is no activation with the Bible sitting on your grandma's coffee table and there is no activation with the Bible sitting in that top drawer of the hotel room when you was at home coming last year.
Speaker 2:Psalm 119 says it like this that the word has to be hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against you. So, in a nutshell, what I'm trying to do is to help somebody, on this Sunday after Resurrection Sunday, to get to the point where the word of God is hidden in your heart. Yeah, yeah, that the word of God means more to you than anything. And and I'm trying to help you because God is saying I want to bless you, but the blessing that you're looking for is found in the word and the enemy keeps trying to steal it.
Speaker 2:Jesus knew this concept Matthew 13,. He's teaching from the parable. And he stood there. He looked at the people and he said y'all listen. He said a farmer went out to plant some seeds and as he scattered them across the field, some seeds fell on a footpath like a road and the birds came and ate them up. He said. Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. You know, one of the issues of planting stuff around here is some areas got that clay, so see, you can't really get deep. He said the seeds sprouted quickly, but because, but because the soil was shallow, they, they soon wilted under the heat. He said other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out tender plants. Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out tender plants. Still, other seeds fell on fertile soil and they produced a crop that was 30, 60 and even 100 times as much as had been planted.
Speaker 2:And then Jesus says anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand. I'm so glad the disciples was real. A few passages later they say Jesus, we don't know what you talk about. What would happen if we came and said Pastor, I don't know what you talk about? What would happen if we came and said, pastor, I don't know what you talk about, that, what we, the whole game would change. Come on Wednesday you can say I don't know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2:So Jesus breaks it down. He said let me tell you like this. He said the seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the kingdom and they don't understand what they heard. He says then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts. There's somebody in the room right now. You're trying to get an understanding. God has brought you to this place, but your understanding is not deep enough and you're in danger because you heard the gospel but before you can leave here, matter of fact, you're getting an email and a text message right now as the enemy trying to snatch away before the seed can ever get planted in your heart. It's the reason that you do invite your loved one to church and you do invite your child to church, you do invite that adult that you love to church, you invite the boyfriend, you invite the girlfriend, but the issue is is that the enemy is hell bent on snatching that word, snatching that seed, but before it ever gets planted in their heart? That's why it's not enough just to invite somebody to the house. You got to pray for their protection and say Lord, let that seed get planted. I want somebody in the room right now to start praying for somebody you invited the church or somebody you want to invite to church and say, lord, let the seed take root.
Speaker 2:Then he goes on to say he said the seed. Then the other example he says the seed on the rocky soil represent those that hear the message and receive it with joy. There's people in here right now. You're receiving what God is saying and you're receiving it with joy. But Jesus this is Jesus talking, he said. But since they don't have deep roots, the joy don't last long. Have deep roots, the joy don't last long, he said. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God's word. Wasn't Jesus a prophet?
Speaker 2:You know how many people come to churches across the world on a whatever day and have an encounter with God, but before they can get back the following week, they get terminated from the job. Before they can get back the following week, all of a sudden they go through a financial crisis. Before they can get back the next week, they're challenged in their spirituality and because they did have a real encounter, but their roots weren't deep enough. And I want to ask some people in the room how many of y'all don't have deep roots. And the evidence that you don't have deep roots is the moment something happens to you, you out the door, the moment it don't go your way. I got to find me a new church where I can feel led to be. It's because you don't have deep roots. You don't have more churches. I'm going to be quiet, I'm going to leave it up.
Speaker 2:The word is saying that we got to have some deep roots, and then he goes on to say but there's another crowd, the seed that fell amongst the thorns, represent those who hear God's word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out. Watch this. You heard what God said. It's Jesus talking. He said. You heard that it's in the word, but the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth. So no fruit is produced. Good God, almighty. Let me read that one again. The seed that falls among the thorns represent those who hear God's word, but too quickly the message is crowded out by the fact that you got bills to pay. The message is crowded out by the fact that your calendar is full. The message is crowded out.
Speaker 2:That's why you don't bring your church, your children to church, like you used to, because you are doing what society is saying that your child needs to be involved in, because you want your child to get drafted. Like Shadua Sanders, you want your child to make it to the next level, and so you'll spend all of your time sending your children to AAU and you'll send your children to the learning center and you'll send your children to violin practice and you'll send your children to piano practice and you'll send your children to chess practice and you'll send your children everywhere to, to, to, to chest practice, and you'll send your children everywhere. But when was the last time you sat down and sent your child to a place where they can learn, where? Thus saith the Lord, because when the piano player turns on them, when the violin is turned on them, when they don't draft you in the round you thought you was gonna be be drafted in, the only thing that you're going to have is is there any word from the Lord? It is the word that keeps us when we can't keep our self. It is the word that'll change your language towards your spouse. It is the word that'll change your language towards your children.
Speaker 2:The word somebody said the word is the presence of God in our life at any time that we need him. And God says is when I say to him God, I can't feel you like I used to. All I am doing is admitting that I don't have the word in my heart and it's not rooted within me. Men and women of God, god says to tell the people today that we got to fall in love with the word. Stop falling in love with being busy in the church. Stop falling in love with getting a microphone and preaching. Stop falling in love with looking like you're doing something and being a busybody.
Speaker 2:God is saying I'm looking for some people to fall in love with the Word. He said I'm looking for some people that will run to the Word before they run to anything else. He said I'm looking for some people that, even if the praise team ain't praising right, if the singer ain't singing right I came to the house for the Word and if the preacher ain't preaching the message that I want him to preach, but as long as it's coming from the word, I know that there is something for me. And God is saying that he wants us to love him, because Jesus told his disciples if you love me, if you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word If you love me. If you love the word, I am the word. You will keep my commandments.
Speaker 2:And so here, men and women of God, there's an invitation that is found in Isaiah 55 that will help us and we get ready to wrap up Now. Media team say every time you say that that means we're going to be here a little longer. No, not today, I promise you. Media team, I'm going to get on out of the way, but there are a few invitations that I want to share in the word of Isaiah 55. First invitation that we see is that there's an invitation to eat the bread of life and drink from the fountain that will never run dry. Isaiah 55, verse 1 and 2, says it like this Is anyone thirsty, come and drink, even if you have no money. Somebody say it's free. Somebody say it's free. Somebody say it's free. Come, take your choice of wine or milk, it's all free. He says why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. Somebody said it as an invitation.
Speaker 2:The Lord is inviting some of you right now to shift your priority in life. He said you're wasting money, time and resources on stuff that will never bring value to your life. You're wasting money, time and resources on stuff that soon will pass away. But the Lord is saying I'm inviting you because, he says I know that you're thirsty. He says you have this spiritual thirst. You want more. You want more of God. And he says what you're looking for is found in the word. He said you ain't got to pay for it because he's already paid for it. I wish somebody get excited right off of that. It's free, not because it wasn't a price, but it's free because he prayed the price.
Speaker 2:I thought there was a Sunday after Easter where we understood, atonement, elder Jamal, that there's something that is free. The word is free because he paid for it. Oh, the first invitation is to eat the bread of life and drink from the fountain that will never run dry. You're empty on the inside. You're feeling like you're missing something, but I'm here to tell you, woman of God, that you can overcome the midlife crisis in the word, because the word is going to show you exactly what you need to do and who you need to do it with the second invitation to listen in order to live and prosper.
Speaker 2:Second invitation in Isaiah 55, to listen in order to live and prosper. He said listen because it's in the word, verse three come to me with your ears wide open, holler, if you hear me, come to me with your ears wide open, holler, if you hear me, come to me with your ears wide open. Listen and what will you find. Oh, my God, y'all try that one more again. Listen and what will you find? Life. Then Jesus declared that I have come so that they may have what Life, and have it what More abundantly. So if I want abundant life, it's found where In the word Come to me with your ears wide open and listen and you will find life.
Speaker 2:Some of y'all are alive, but you stopped living a long time ago. Yeah, you hate Monday morning because you are alive and you have to go to a place, but you ain't lived in a long time. What is the word saying? Is it time for you to make a shield? What is the word saying Is it time for you to walk by faith? What is the word saying?
Speaker 2:He says come to me with your ears wide open and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. Covenant means, he said, I'm promising you, I will give you the unfailing love I promise David. I promise that David is a powerful promise because David was imperfect. David made horrible choices that impacted his family for generations to come. David was one that sin. It got caught up in the flesh, but God loved David anyhow. That I would bless somebody in the room that had made a bad choice. That he says I'm going to bless you like I blessed David. That I looked beyond David's faults and I saw his needs, because David was a man after my own heart and I promised David that nothing was going to stop his elevation.
Speaker 2:Can I talk to somebody in the room and say that the more you get into this world, nothing can stop your elevation. Nothing can stop the plan and the promise that God has for your life. Why? Because he loves you. He says see how I use him to display my power amongst the people. The reason that I can prophesy that God is about to lift some of you up and elevate you is because your success is a witness unto him. The book success is a witness unto him. The restaurant success is a witness unto him. This church's success is a witness unto him. And when they stick the microphone at your lips and ask you how you did it, you will know to reply to God be the glory.
Speaker 2:I wish I had some Bible readers in the room that's getting ready to say if it had not been for the Lord who was on my side, tell me where would I be? Men and women of God, the third one he says. The first one was to eat the bread of life and to drink from the fountain that would never run dry. That's the first invitation. The second invitation was to listen in order to live and to prosper. The Lord is saying I'm about to prosper you. If you could only listen. And here's the third one. He says it right here. The third one is the third invitation is to seek the Lord. Verse six and seven said it like this Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now, while he is near. He says let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. He says let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously Y'all.
Speaker 2:I'm so glad that my ministry assignment is not to perfect people. I'm so glad that my ministry assignment is not to everybody who's already done it right. I'm so glad that there are some people in the room like that who don't have an ugly yesterday, because we do need some people that didn't know how to act back in the day. But I'm called to the other crowd. Yeah, I'm called to the crowd that you look good today, but if they could. Only, boy, if we had social media back in the day. Boy, I'm called to the crowd that understands that you once was lost. But you understand amazing grace. Yeah, because now you have been found. You understand amazing grace because you once was blind. But now you see I need some people in the world that got a testimony.
Speaker 2:You ought to turn to somebody right now and tell them it's time for you to seek the Lord. You ought to tell them like you mean it. Every educator in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. Every financial advisor in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. Every parent in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. Every pastor in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. Every pastor in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. Every husband in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. All the single ladies and single brothers in the room. It's time for you to seek the Lord. And he said you better seek him while you can find him. What does he mean? Grandma preaching to us again.
Speaker 2:It's getting late in the evening, y'all, and the sun is going down. After a while, time is going to be up. Oh no, our great getting up morning when this life is over. We all got to fly away, and the question that's going to be raised is when you had an opportunity, did you seek the Lord or did you seek likes on Instagram? Did you seek the Lord or did you seek likes on Instagram? Did you seek the Lord or did you seek promotion on your job? Did you seek the Lord or did you seek popularity? Did you seek the Lord or did you seek position?
Speaker 2:I need some people in the room now, except from this rest of my life I'm going to seek the Lord. I'm not going to seek anything but your God. Because if I seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, the word declares then good God, almighty. That's Pastor True's favorite verse. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then good God almighty. I try to tell you it pays to know the word. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. When I'm righteous, I think like he thinks. When I'm righteous, I talk like he talks. When I'm righteous, I move like he moves. When I'm righteous, I forgive like he forgives.
Speaker 3:Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and then good God almighty. Give like he forgives. Seek ye. First the kingdom of God, and then good God almighty all these things shall be added unto me.
Speaker 2:I ain't got a lot of chicken.
Speaker 1:I ain't got a cut to the chicken. All I got to be is what.
Speaker 3:God called me to be, and there's going to be an overflow that's going to hit my house.
Speaker 2:There's a blessing that's coming For the redeemed of the Lord. I want to have some redeemed folks that's gonna seek the Lord and God is about to bless you. He's about to bless you real good. There's about to be an overflow. There's about to be a shift. There's about to be a comeback.
Speaker 1:There's about to be a come up. Thank God, almighty.
Speaker 2:Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. I thought I said it. I'll say it one more time. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. If you understand that he bought you, if you understand that he died for you, if you understand there's no good thing that he's going to hold from you, because that's what the Bible says, let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Let the redeemed of the Lord.
Speaker 3:say so, holler, if you're redeemed.
Speaker 2:Holler, if you know that the best is yet to come. Men and women of God, and as a last invitation, men and women of God, and as a last invitation, the last invitation, that I think is the most powerful invitation. The first invitation was what family? To eat the bread of life? To drink from the fountain That'll never run dry? I've been married a while now and I got to learn this new age vernacular, but I've been told that sometimes single people elders them all use language like my inbox is dry. Is that what y'all say? I'm out of the game, I don't know. But I want to talk to somebody in the room and tell you if you drink from a fountain, it'll never run dry. On them dry inbox day. It's not that they dry, it's that God is blocking you from every fool that's trying to take what God has in store for you.
Speaker 2:Men and women of God, what was the second one? He said that if there's an invitation in the word to live and prosper, the Lord says if you hear the word of the Lord, what I'm about to do in your life is going to blow your natural eye. And the third invitation was to seek the Lord not tomorrow, but today. He says, if you turn to him today, he'll forgive you from your yesterday and ought to be some good news, because we all got a yesterday. But I still believe the last invitation is the most powerful invitation and the last invitation is an invitation to understanding. Here's what the Lord says in verse 8. He says that everything that you need is in the word. And as you get in the word, you're going to quickly discover that my thoughts are not your thoughts and my ways are not your ways. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts. And I thank God that his thoughts are higher than my thoughts, because sometimes my thoughts have been in the gutter. I thank God that his ways are higher than my ways because I spent some time in the valley and, you see, if God was to think like me, he'd make some valley thought decisions, like I've made some valley decisions.
Speaker 2:But because we serve a God who don't think like we think, we serve a God who's above everything that we've been through. We serve a God that says I need you to understand that I'm up to something. Can you encourage somebody as we get ready to go home. Just tell them, God is up to something. Yeah, yeah, just say say you don't understand it, but God is up to something now. If they ain't heard me, if you give them your best preacher voice, you they might hear. Yeah, yeah, say, say, say you don't understand it, but God is up to something Now. If they ain't heard me, if you give them your best preacher voice, they might hear you better. So I need y'all to help me to preach our way home. Look at a neighbor with your best preacher voice. Say neighbor, oh neighbor, god is up to something. You may not understand it. Oh, say it like you mean it. Say you may not understand it. Tell them one more time. You may not understand it. Tell them, but you better run on, Tell them you.
Speaker 3:Better run on, Tell them you better run on.
Speaker 2:Oh, you lost your preacher voice. Tell them to run on and see what the end going to be. Good God, almighty, tell your neighbor that there's a shift that's about to happen. Tell them there's a shift that's about to happen. He said the shift is found in the word, because the Lord says in the word of God that he's sending out his word, and when his word goes out from his mouth, it shall not come back to him void. It shall not come to him empty.
Speaker 2:There's never been a time in the Bible where God didn't speak a thing and it didn't come to pass. When he spoke for the sun to shine, the sun stood up. When he spoke to the ocean to be still and stop at the edge of the beach, the ocean had to stay right there. When he spoke to David's life and said you'll be the king of all Israel, he became the king, didn't he? You ought to get excited now that what God speaks, it won't return to him void. It will accomplish that in which the Lord intended for it to do when he told Abram in Genesis leave your family and your kinfolk and go to a land that I'll show you. I'll make you the father of many generations. There's something about the word that won't return to him void. Whatever he speaks, it shall come to pass. When he told Jesus to go down through 42 generations, go down and be lied on. Go down and be talked about. Go down and be criticized. Go down and be falsely arrested. Go down and be abused by the Romans. Go down and challenge the government system. Go down and challenge religious philosophy. Go down and tell them that the wages of sin is still death, but the gift of God is eternal life. He said you're going to die in the process, you'll be bruised in the process, they'll bury you in the process.
Speaker 2:But it was declared in the Old Testament that, although he'd be despised and although he'd be rejected, on a Sunday morning, good God Almighty, our God would rise again. And we knew that he would rise because out of the mouth of God it said that this situation would not kill you, that Jesus, even though you're dead for a little while, you shall live and not die. And I want to tell somebody on this Sunday morning, the Word of God is going out and it won't return to him void. It won't return to him empty. It's about to accomplish something, that in which he purposed. Good God, almighty. I feel the Holy Ghost, I feel the Word of God saying there's somebody with faith enough that came into the house of God that needs a healing in your natural body. If you get to the altar and pray, there's a healing in the room for you today, because His Word will not return to him void. What does he say about healing? He says that he is the great physician. He says that he is Jehovah.
Speaker 2:Rapha, I need some people in the room that believe God for your current situation. Is there any word from the Lord about what it is that you're facing? Is there any word from the Lord about what you got to deal with in the morning? You got to know what God is saying about your situation. You got to know what God is saying about your pain. You got to know what God is saying about your problem. You got to know that the word of God declares they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. You've got to know what the Word declares that you are the head and not the tail. You've got to know that the Word declares that, on a day coming, you'd be filled with the power, the presence and promise of the Holy Ghost in your life.
Speaker 2:I wish I had some people that knew what the Word said about your current situation. Elder Jamal, do you know what the Lord is saying about where you currently are? Elder Shaikh, do you know what the Word is saying about whatever it is you're praying about? Lady Tiffany, do you know what the word is saying about whatever it is you're praying about? Lady Tiffany, do you know what the word is saying about what you need God to do? I just need about 10 witnesses in the room that understand what God is saying about your situation. Do you know what God is saying about your young adult child that's still in the streets?
Speaker 3:Do you know what God is saying about your young adult child? That's?
Speaker 2:still in the streets. Do you know what God is saying about the person in your family that's still dealing with addiction? Do you know what God is saying about the person whose heart was?
Speaker 3:broken as they go through a divorce.
Speaker 2:I heard the Lord say that he's close to the brokenhearted. I heard the Lord say that he's close to the brokenhearted. I heard the Lord say that he'll never pass you by. And if you know what the word has declared about whatever it is you're going through, you ought to hold your head back and look unto the hills. But when coming your help, our help, coming from the Lord, as you hold your head back, you ought to just start saying thank you.
Speaker 3:This is for the word knowers.
Speaker 2:Because if you don't know the word, you don't know what you're thanking him for. But if you know what God has declared as it relates to your circumstance, if you know what God has declared as it relates to your condition, I need you to hold your head back and start giving him some glory. I need you to hold your head back and start giving them some glory. I need you to hold your head back and start giving them some praise. You ought to start thanking God because you know what God said about your family.
Speaker 2:You know what God is saying about your business. You know what God is saying about this community. You know what God is saying about this community. You know what God is saying about this church. I need some word, people. You know what God is saying.
Speaker 3:Give God a worship, give God a praise.
Speaker 2:Just based on the fact. It's been declared in his word that all my needs shall be supplied.
Speaker 2:It's been declared in his word Touch not the head of my anointing and do my prophets no harm. I need my Word people to give God a praise. I need my Word people to give God a worship, because I know what God has said concerning the Bowers family. I know what God has saying concerning Chosen City Church because I know it. I don't have to wait for the manifestation. I don't have to wait till the battle is over. I've learned to shout now because the word has declared that I win in the end. Good God, almighty, I can shout while I'm broke. I can shout while my child locked up. I can shout in the court in the morning. I can shout on the operating table. I can shout in my depression.
Speaker 1:I can shout in my pain.
Speaker 2:I can shout in my misery. I can shout at the chastisement, I can shout at the funeral home.
Speaker 1:I can shout because I know what the Lord has said. I know what the Lord has declared. I know that his words shall not return void.
Speaker 2:It'll do everything. Somebody say everything. I declare everything blessed, I declare everything miracle. I declare everything moving Because the everything miracle.
Speaker 3:I declare everything moving Because the word says I'm going to do everything that I have set forth to do.
Speaker 2:Give God some glory in this place. Give him some glory.
Speaker 2:I need all my people to know what the Lord is saying. I need all my people to know what the Lord is saying. I need all my people to know what God is saying about whatever it is you're dealing with right now, to be reminded that it shall come to pass. Every promise, I don't care how old you are, I don't care how long it's been delayed. If it was a word from the Lord, it shall come to pass. But can I remind you of one last thing as we stand to our feet, hear this If it is not a word from the Lord, that's the whole Bible, that's the whole counsel.
Speaker 2:This way it gets heartbreaking. If it is not a word from the Lord, I don't care how hard you work at it, I don't care how much effort you put in it, it will never come to pass. And that's why you got to be filled with the Spirit, so you can have a discernment enough to know when. God's why you got to be filled with the spirit, so you can have a discerning, a discernment enough to know when God is telling you to go and when God is telling you to stay. Listen, family. The door to the house of God stands open. Today, everything that we need is in the word. It's in the word. Is my prayer that some of you all will fall in love with the word. I encourage you to get a version of the bible that you can read and understand that is accurate. I often use the new living translation. I use other translations, y'all know as well but sometimes I have parallels. I'm looking because I'm trying to make sure that I rightly divide what God is saying and I want to tell you, in this season of your life, you're doing yourself a major disservice if you're not getting up daily in this word, and I know we've been saying that for generations upon generations. But if there ever was a generation that needed the word of God, it's the generation of now. If there ever was a generation that needed the word of God, it's the generation of now. If there ever was a generation that needed the word of God, it's the generation of now. So I extend an invitation to somebody right now. The door to the house of God stands open. Here it is.
Speaker 2:God is saying in the word that you need a church home, because the Bible says that we ought to forsake not the assembly of one another. Corinthians says that we are many members of what one body. That means there's a gift in you that even I don't have, and it's a gift that this body is missing and it's in you. So, god, god is saying I want to bless you, but you got to submit yourself to somewhere that you can grow, a place that you can use the gifts and a place that you're going to allow to hold you accountable to be the best version of yourself. So today I want to extend an invitation to some families. I want to extend an invitation to some singles. Wherever you stand, I want to give you an opportunity to say, oh god, yes, because it's in the word that you need a church home. Maybe you're new to the city, maybe you've been praying and the holy spirit spoke to you today and you don't have a church home. We want to extend this invitation to you. You don't have to leave here, like you came in jesus name.
Speaker 2:Hallelujah, let's celebrate god. Let's celebrate god. Somebody, let's celebrate God. Somebody. Yell out loud welcome to the family, Welcome to the family. God bless you. God bless you. To God, be the glory, to God, be the glory. Listen, I need some. They back there. Listen, chosin City.
Speaker 2:Y'all know what we do. Just that point that you check on the person next to you, ask them what they say. And then, do they have a church home? If they're not sure, say may I walk with you? Ask them, don't be ashamed. If you can't ask in here, you'll never ask on the job. You'll never ask at the Panthers game, and y'all know they need prayer. Cowboys got a seat on the front row. Cowboys got a seat. But seriously, listen, listen, if somebody they need a church home, you need a covering in a place where you can grow spiritually.
Speaker 2:And there's somebody here today that maybe you've never, maybe you've never been baptized. In accordance with the scripture, jesus says that if we confess with our mouth and believe with our heart, then we shall be saved. And in the first act of obedience, after making a confession of faith, is to be baptized. So there may be someone here today that say, hey, I need to rededicate my life to the lord. I've never been baptized and since it's in the word, I'm gonna say I'm gonna do what god said, doing his word. God says he wants you to come unto me. All that are heavy laden, and I'll give you rest. Everything that you need is in this word Hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Hallelujah.
Speaker 1:And maybe another one today. Many things you were on earth A holy king, a comforter. You are the living one, awesome ruler, gentle, redeemer. God with us, the living truth. And what a friend we have in you. You are the living word. Jesus, jesus, that's what we call you, major boy, major boy, but on a tree you died to save humanity. You are the living word, Jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, that's what we call you, that's what we call you. We're born in a manger, a manger born on a tree, born on a tree. You died to save humanity. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, Jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus.
Speaker 2:Jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, jesus, Jesus, come on country. You've got to stay Manatee. You are the best one. Listen, family, I'm asking all those desiring prayer to please meet me at the altar. All those that need prayer would like prayer to come meet me at the altar. All of those that are willing to intercede. What does that mean? That means that I'll come down to the altar on behalf of someone else. I'll come down on behalf of a loved one. I'll come down on behalf of a stranger. I'll come down on behalf of the community. I'll come down on behalf of the country. I'll come down on behalf of the children. I'll come down on behalf of the children. I'll come down and stand in the gap for someone. I'll come down and stand in the gap for people dealing with domestic violence. I need all of the intercessors To say I'll come down and I'll stand in the gap. All the intercessors come down and say, god, I'm going to come down and stand on a person that is dealing with a substance abuse issue. I need everybody that's willing to come down to this altar.
Speaker 2:Thank you, lord, thank you, lord, thank you. Thank you, lord. Lord, we love you for being the living word. We thank you, god, for being active in every area of our lives. God, I pray that you, we come to the house of God, often believe in you for miracles, because you still are a miracle worker, god. But, lord, today, before you do the other miracles, there's a miracle that we got to lead with and, god, maybe you maybe won't even consider it a miracle, but it'll be a miracle for me because it goes against what the world is doing.
Speaker 2:God, I pray that you change right now, in this place, at this altar, the hearts and the minds of every person under the sound of my voice, that they have an unusual appetite and love for the Word of God, beyond the ordinary. They have a desire for the word that they've never had before. I pray that over the people that I serve, I declare that over their lives, right now, that you'll shift our minds and our hearts, god, that we just want to get up and our first move is no longer to scroll on social media. Our last move before we go to sleep is no longer to scroll on Instagram. There's a shift within us, god, that even though we may do those things sometimes, but, god, our primary objective is to get in this Word.
Speaker 2:God, I pray that your Holy Spirit will put a light on the Word, where perhaps once they didn't understand the word, that suddenly, now there's a supernatural deposit I breathe and I speak in the name of Jesus a supernatural deposit, god, into the life of every person under the sound of my voice, god that they'll have such a yearning for the word that suddenly, all of a sudden, their bowed down head is lifted up because they can see who they are in Christ Jesus. Suddenly worry has to go away because they see the answer and the resolution to everything that they are dealing with. Suddenly they're no longer worried about the medical conditions because they believe in the power of the word, that they can pray and lay hands and decree and declare and believe that by faith, that you're going to move, that you're going to heal and they're going, you're going to set free and they're going to deliver, and it'll be based on what the word is saying, not on feelings, not on emotions. Suddenly, god, they're not worried about the finances, because they realize that the Bible speaks so much about finances that if we just simply were to follow it, all of us would be debt free, because it's in the word, god, I pray right now, in Jesus' name, that you will show your power at this altar, because in your word, god, every now and then you will show up at an unexpected time just to show your power. So today, god, all we did was study the word. Now, because we studied the word and we are recipients of the word, show your power at this altar. Show your power at this altar. Show your power at this altar. Show your power at this altar. Loose at this altar. Loose at this altar. Loose at this altar. Loose at this altar.
Speaker 2:Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show the power at the altar God. You know what your children need. God, show your power at the altar God. Let it go right now. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God, simply because we believe you at your word. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar God. Show your power at the altar. God Breathe on them, god Shower down on them. God Show your power. God Show your might. God Show your strength. God Resolve it. God, fix it. God Do it, god, and do it this week, god, we declare it. God. Show your power at the arms of God, based on what your word has declared.
Speaker 2:God for every mountain you brought us over, for every trial you brought us through, for every blessing, god, god, right now they're laying some stuff at this altar. I feel it in the Holy Ghost. They're laying some stuff at the altar, they're laying it down at the altar they're not going to pick it up anymore.
Speaker 2:In Jesus name, we declare, if you would allow, holy One, that they lay it down today and they don't pick it up. But God, don't leave that space empty. God, if they are laying some stuff down, then you got to feel the empty space. If they're breaking up from somebody, god, you got to feel the empty space. If they're letting it go of an addiction, then you got to feel the empty space. If they're walking out on faith, then, god, you got to leave the empty space, because if they're walking out, that means they're leaving something. So, god, don't let them leave this altar empty-handed.
Speaker 2:God, I pray right now. I pray right now that, jesus, that now we're closing out the prayer, I'm still in prayer, but I need y'all to help on this one. I need every believer that believes that God will fill you your empty space. You lay something down. You lay it down worry. You lay it down. Doubt it down. You lay down worry. You lay down, doubt. It ain't enough. The Lord said it's not enough just to lay it down. The Word said there has to be a filling of the empty space. So if you lay some stuff down and you believe in God for something in here, y'all let's pray together. Y'all just start calling to God right now. Ask Him to fill you up with His power. Ask His Holy Spirit to fill the empty space. See, some of y'all got to leave some stuff. Some of y'all got to make some transition. The word has confirmed. You got to make some transition and you got to ask god. You got to ask open your mouth, open your mouth. Open your mouth. Open your mouth. Open your mouth. This is your life on the line. Tonight is going to be you and god in the room, all alone. You got to be able to know how to pray for yourself. Open your mouth, open your mouth. This is your time. Open your mouth. This is your miracle. Open your mouth. This is your breakthrough. Now you talk to God. Right now. He says seek me where you can find me. While you can find me, he's here. He's in this room, y'all. He's here, he's in this room, he's here. He's here. He's here, he's here, he's, he's here. Oh, he's filling the empty spaces. I believe that, in faith, I believe that everybody that asked that prayer, in faith, he's filling the empty space. He's filling the empty space.
Speaker 2:There's a shift that's happening at this altar. There's a shift that's happening at this altar, we declare, in the name of Jesus, that you have a new thirst for the word. You got a new thirst for God. You got a new heart for him. You have a new love for him. You got a new heart for him. You have a new love for him. You're not going to miss Bible study, you're not going to miss devotion time, and God is going to speak to you about everything.
Speaker 2:Fill them up, God, right now. God. Fill them up, god. Show signs and evidence of the filling. Fill them right now, god. Fill them right now, god. Fill them right now, god. Fill them right now. Kill the music. Fill them right now. They're going to make their own music to heaven. We're going home. Fill them right now, god. Emptiness. We lay down the bad stuff. Fill them right now, god. This is a move.
Speaker 2:What happens next is up to the people at this altar. The more that y'all pray and the more that y'all believe God, watch how God will manifest himself in this place. What happens in the next 30 seconds? It's up to the people at this altar. The Lord is saying I'm looking for those that are seeking me. What happens next is up to you. What happens next is up to the people at this altar that got faithful enough to believe God for the supernatural. You didn't come to church for the ordinary. That's why he said get them in the word, because that's where the extraordinary happens, that's where the miracle happens. And God is saying what you do now determines your week. What you do now determines your week. What you do now determines your week. What you do now determines your week. Come on y'all. We almost home.
Speaker 2:I ain't going to hold you long, but I'm trying to get you to free yourself. I'm trying to get your posture to be delivered and to be set free. Call out to him right now. Y'all call out to him in your own way. Just call out to him right now in your own way. Call out to him those on social media call out to him. I'm calling out on behalf of the Bowers family. I'm calling out on behalf of my mother, my wife, my children, my wife's parents, my everybody. I'm calling out in the name of Jesus. Call everybody in the name of Jesus. Call everybody in the name of Jesus. In-laws are in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:I'm not going to keep you here today. I promise you I'm not. But you didn't come for the ordinary. Hey, this is the Sunday that most people don't come the Sunday after Easter. But you came because you were looking for the Lord. You came because you need something extra, and God is saying this at this altar. I'm not going to keep you longer than the Lord says, but I'm just trying to get you to the place where God can move on your life. Get you to that place. Now I'm going to say this and we're going to be out of the way.
Speaker 2:I believe the Bible teaches I point it out in scripture over and over again there was always a what family, always a what. I teach you here A sound before what, before the move of God. And listen y'all. We're going to go to our seat, but before we go to our seat, we're going to lift up a sound. Whatever sound that comes from your belly, whatever sound comes from your heart. It may be a yell, it may be a wail, it may be a scream, it may be a clap, it don't matter, it's between you and God. I need you to worship like nobody ain't even with you. I need you to worship like it's just you and God alone in a room. I just need you to do it because there's always a sound, yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's victory.
Speaker 3:That's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory, that's victory. I see my own family and I see victory.
Speaker 2:I see my own family. I see victory. I see your family and I see victory. I see your concern and I see victory.
Speaker 3:You're no longer the victim. I see victory. Hey, I see victory.
Speaker 2:I see victory. I see victory. I see victory. Hey, hey For every mountain. Listen, we're going to dismiss on this. I'm going to give us our official dismissal at the altar, but I'm going to let them worship on for every mountain. For every mountain. That's a song. I love that song. For every mountain, that's a song. I love that song For every mountain. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for what you've done in this house. I thank you for the victory. We walk by faith and not by sight. We go with the Bible. We see victory.
Speaker 2:We see victory, we see victory, god, if you're prepared to leave this place today. I pray that they walk in victory. I pray that they will see a manifestation of their victory this week. We declare it to be so in Jesus' name. For every mountain you brought us over, for every trial you've seen us through, for every blessing, we say hallelujah. Now may the grace of God and the sweet communion of the Holy Spirit rest and abide with us, each, now, henceforth and forevermore. Let the people of God say amen, amen, amen. You are evermore. Let the people of God say amen, amen, amen. You are officially dismissed, but we're going to worship our way out the door. We're going to worship our way out the door. Come on, somebody's been a saint. This for us, right here.
