Hallelujah, hallelujah, order our steps In your word. Family. That's so critical. It's the reason that I even asked y'all to start bringing your paper Bibles. As a matter of fact, I think we got about 75. If you don't have a paper Bible at home, I want you to get one today, because it's a sign that you're saying from this day forward, I recognize that my future is in your word. From this day forward, I realize that my life is in your word. From this day forward, I realize my victory is in your word. From this day forward, I realize my victory is in your word. From this day forward, I realize the success of my career is in your word.

Somebody say thank God for the word, thank God for the word, thank God for the word. Father, we stretch our hands to thee. No other help we know. If thou were to withdraw thyself from us, o Lord, where should we go? God, you're doing something here at Chosen City Church today and I thank you. It was so powerful, god, that I once shared with one of the elders that when you have a move like that, it's hard to catch lightning in a bottle. But move like that, it's hard to catch lightning in a bottle. So, lord, I'm not trying to catch lightning in a bottle, but the request is, god, that you just strike again Already. God, speak, lord, like only you can. Can we've already received confirmation that you've moved in some people's lives? Speak, lord, like only you can, and we'll be careful, god, to give your name to glory. We'll be careful to give your name to honor.

We are in a series on our way towards Pentecost, called it's in the Word, and as we go forward, as God gives me something to highlight, that's what I want to do, and sometimes it'll be topics that are you're not as familiar with, but it's going to be topics that will change our lives Today. First Corinthians, the 14th chapter, verse three is our guide reading today from the King James Version. Three is our guide reading today from the king james version. It is our custom here to read the word of god together so that you may recall it just when you need it the most. Let's read the word of god together, ready, set read.

But he that prophesied speaketh unto men to edification and exhortation and comfort, and I would just like to use as a subject today, as the holy spirit would allow, it's in the word prophesy. Say that, say, say it's in the word prophesy. Say you don't have to be afraid of prophecy. Say it like you mean it. You don't have to be afraid of prophecy. Tell your neighbor there is nothing spooky about it the enemy wants you to think it's weird, but we know a prophetic utterance is about to change somebody's life.

Therefore, somebody say therefore yeah, yeah, that's a prophetic praise right there, y'all, y'all caught it already, that y'all caught it already. Now say therefore, since Jesus said it, I believe it. And that settles it. It's in the word prophesy, prophesy, prophesy. You may be seated in the presence of our Lord. Men and women of God, I'm going to do the best I can to explain something that the enemies try to make spooky, because the enemy understands the power in this one utterance from the Lord. And in this series, I'm going to do my best to teach what God is saying, so that you can have an encounter with the word that will change your life. My prayer this week has been Lord, send your people, because they need this word, because if they receive this word in the right spirit, they will realize that in their own mouth, they can shift the entire game, and they will realize that not only can they do it, they will do it, and they will do it today. Somebody say we're going to do it today. Let me teach a little bit so that you can understand that everything that I'm sharing with you is not emotionalism, is not about trying to be this or trying to be that. It's the Bible. Bible, it's the Bible. Prophecy plays a crucial role in pointing the people of God towards Jesus. So, in other words, when I prophesy what God has given me, the main objective is to point people towards Christ. How do I know? Because Revelation 19, verse 10, says the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. This suggests that true prophecy, inspired by God, not inspired by my emotions, not inspired by my feelings, ultimately reveals God's plan in the earth, ultimately reveals that our God has not forgotten about us and that we need to hold on and see what the end is going to be. As a matter of fact, I want to take a moment and prophesy in the room right now to several of you all. And the Lord is saying that you just need to hold on and see what the end is going to be. This was the week you said you was going to quit. This was the end. You said you was going to quit. This was the end. You said you was going to resign. You weren't even worried about what was going to happen because you was tired, but the Lord just said hold on and see what the end is going to be.

The word prophesy prophetio in the New Testament, the word prophesy nabe in the Old Testament, mean the same thing. It means to speak or sing by inspiration from the Lord. We just had, I believe, a prophetic worship when we were singing all day and especially when we were singing order, my steps in your word. That's not a performance, that was a prophetic utterance to say God, I'm worshiping you through song inspired by the Holy Ghost, to say God for where you're taking me. I can't do this by myself and that's why, when you come into worship, you should not be coming to be entertained. You should be coming to lift up a sound so that you can have a connection with God, so that God can download in you a word just when you need it the most. Somebody say prophesy, yeah, prophesy.

Prophecy is mentioned throughout the entire Bible, bible and is first mentioned in Genesis, the 20th chapter of Genesis, where, in the 20th chapter of Genesis, abraham is the one that's the witness. And to understand the prophetic as it relates to Abraham, the first thing you got to understand is that Abraham had an unusual assignment from God. I want to talk to some of you, all in the room, that have an unusual assignment from God. God has asked you to do something in this season of your life. That doesn't make sense. Yeah, it's not something that you plan to do. As a matter of fact, you had your life planned out. You're doing something else and God showed up just disrupting your entire calendar, because that's how God rolls. Whenever there's an encounter with God, it's a divine disruption. You can't have an encounter with God and keep doing what you have been doing.

Abraham was minding his own business when God came to him in Genesis, the 12th chapter, and said Abraham, there's an assignment on your life. There's something I'm going to do through you. Your father didn't have what you have. Your father didn't love me. Like like you love me. And Abraham, I'm letting you know that your bloodline is not going to be a predictor of what I have for you. I want to talk to somebody in the room and say I don't care what the generational curse was, it's canceled because your bloodline is no predictor of what your future is going to be. As a matter of fact, I come right now in the name of Jesus.

There was one of our great leaders that is dealing with some kidney issues in the bloodline. I didn't realize it was in the bloodline, but prophetically, we cancel that in Jesus' name. See, I'm going to show you in a minute how that authority comes, because not only do I have that authority, you have that authority to call stuff out in the name of Jesus. Would y'all pray with me and say it's canceled? Can we cancel what's going on in that bloodline? That's negative. Matter of fact, can y'all call it out for your own bloodline and say it's canceled? I'm not going to have dementia. It's canceled. I'm not going to deal with the diabetes. It's canceled. I declare this in Jesus' name because the work that he has for me is greater. I know it took out my grandmother, I know it took out my great-grandmother, but, good God, almighty, I know the doctor said he saw signs of it, but I want to declare that it's canceled because that's what prophetic people have the power to do.

Abraham has a unique assignment from God and when you have a unique assignment from God, that doesn't make sense to anybody else. You have to work and operate in the prophetic. You have to, because you will fail miserably if you try to do it by yourself. He, he goes out and God said listen, this is the assignment. I need you to go somewhere you've never been before and I ain't going to show you where you're going until you start walking. He starts to go to where God told him to go, which required him to go into foreign places, foreign territories. Some of you right now are traveling through foreign places and foreign territories. You say, what do you mean, pastor Walt? I ain't even got no passport. No, I'm talking about you going through foreign places in the spirit realm. You're in places that you've never been before. You're experiencing stuff you've never experienced before. I know this because the Holy Ghost showed it to me and he says you're just like Abraham, but you just got to keep walking. Can you encourage somebody right there and tell them to keep walking, keep walking. But what? The reality is that even though he was anointed, even though he had an unusual call from God, he's just like us.

He made some bad choices Historically at that time in the world. If you entered another man's kingdom, that another man had the right to do whatever he wanted to do. And so he enters the kingdom of a man called Abimelech and the kings back then were attracted to pretty women. Some of y'all ladies in the room would be in big trouble if you live back then, because if the king saw you and he wanted you that was, that's just pretty much how it went and Abraham was concerned that they would see his pretty wife, his blessing that the Lord had given him. So he told his wife when we go through this land, if they come for you, tell them I'm your brother, I'll tell them you're my sister, so that way they won't kill you, and then we'll figure out the rest on the other side.

And that always gives me pause whenever I look at that scripture, because I'm like, hmm, he had this promise from God that he was going to be the father of many nations. He had this promise from God that he was going to be the father of many nations. He had this promise from God that his wife was going to have children. At this time they don't have any of the promises of God. But the first moment he deals with an obstacle, he wants to forfeit the blessing.

I want to talk to some of y'all in the room and say, oh, you got a problem and now you're just going to forfeit the blessing. Oh, now, because you got a problem, you're just going to forfeit the blessing. Oh, now, because you've got a problem, you're just going to throw in the towel. Oh, now you've got a problem and you're just going to give up. I've got a question for you Was God lying then? Or is God lying now? Because if God said it was going to come to pass, then you should stand on that now. I want to encourage somebody in the room and say you've got to stand on it now because if you believed it, then now is the time to stand on it. He makes a bad choice.

Abimelech comes and takes his wife from him. But God, somebody say but God, when you are favored by God, favor covers our bad choices and our mistakes. Before Abimelech could uh turn on the, uh, the teddy pea, and and uh, before and before he could put on the aroma in the room, before he could dim the lights you know, abimelech had one of them clap on, clap off lights. Before he could do any of that, god spoke to Abimelech and said Abimelech, don't touch her and, as a matter of fact, until she is returned to Abraham, you are going to be sick and the women in the city are no longer going to be able to bear children. Abimelech runs and he says oh, by the way, the only way your sickness is going to be cured is if you go back to Abraham and allow him to prophesy to you. Abraham, and allow him to prophesy to you. Oh, abimelech runs back to Abraham and he said hey, man, why you set me up that way? He said, man, I just didn't know what you would do. He was like here's your wife, here goes some sheep, here goes some goats, here goes everything that you need.

And I realized the power of the prophetic. First, I realized that the prophetic restores Somebody say the prophetic restores. The prophetic restored Abraham back to his wife, even though he had abandoned the blessing. And I want to talk to somebody today and say, if you can embrace this teaching today, there's going to be a restoration that's going to happen for you this week in Jesus' name. Did you hear what I said? Write it, mark it. If you embrace it, there's going to be a restoration that's going to happen for you this week in Jesus' name. Did you hear what I said? Write it, mark it. If you embrace it, there's going to be a restoration that happens.

And the beautiful thing about the prophetic it doesn't matter if you've been imperfect. Good God, almighty. So you thought being prophetic meant that you had to be perfect. You matter of fact, on your worst day. That's when you really need the prophetic. I need some people that need the prophetic at the, at the bottom. I need some people that need the prophetic at the jailhouse. I need some people that need the prophetic in the in the courtroom. If anybody said God, I need you to speak to that judge right now, because that's when the prophetic does his best work.

So the prophetic restores, but the also the prophetic provided, because Abraham was prophetic when Abimelech showed up. This time he gave them everything that they needed in a strange land and through from starting from the book of Genesis, we see the prophetic move through the Bible. So then the question may be if this gift is so powerful, who should prophesy? Well, I want to help you to understand that there is a major difference between the office of the prophet held by people to this day. Now there may be some sensationalists in the room sensationalists Put your hands up so we can see you who don't believe that God move like that anymore. They love Jesus.

But there are people that believe that God doesn't move through prophetic people anymore. They don't believe that God is a God of miracle signs and wonders anymore. They say we love God, but our theology tells us that in the book of Acts we stop seeing these miracles because we don't see them anymore. But there's another crowd and I'm in that other crowd that I believe that we still have a God of miracles, signs and wonders. I know this because he said that there are certain gifts that will not cease until the day of perfection. And I looked up and I saw what was going on in our government. And I looked up and I saw what was going on in the world. And I looked up and saw what was going on. And I've come to the conclusion that we have yet to reach perfection. And because we've yet to reach perfection, we still need the gifts. And so the gift that we have here is the gift of the prophetic.

It's interesting because if you read 1 Corinthians, 14, chapter, verse 1, it says that you should desire love and you should desire other gifts. But believe it or not, go read it for yourself. It literally says the greatest gift that the body of Christ should desire is the gift of the prophetic. It's right there. Follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts. But rather, sometimes I say but rather, but rather meaning that of all the stuff that you need in this mean and unfriendly world, all the stuff that you need in light of what you got to deal with in the morning, of all the stuff that you got to deal with, is in your inbox of all the stuff that you got to deal with in your house. God says it's good to love, it's good to speak in tongues, but what you really need to understand is the prophetic. Somebody say prophesy, so then the question is raised then, if this is so important, who can prophesy? Again, there's the difference between the office of the prophet and operating in the gift of prophecies. There are people that operate in that spiritual gift of being a prophet, being a prophetess. I believe in that and God speaks to those individuals and that's the office that they hold. But I want to talk to the rest of y'all and let you know that you are just as prophetic or you have the potential to be See.

In the book of Joel there was a problem with the people of God and, because of their disobedience and sin and things that were going on in the world, they found themselves in bondage, they found themselves in struggle, they found themselves in years of Babylonian captivity and everything looked like it was going so bad for them until somebody say until until the prophet joel showed up and he started to talk to him about a few things. First, he said you've been in a drought. Anybody want to be honest? This is nobody. Feel like to be in a drought. Y'all know what it feel like to be in a drought. Man, that's ugly stuff, everything dried up, ain't nothing working, ain't nothing, ain't nothing happening. Um, it just feel like you just kind of stuck and and the people of god were in a drought.

As a matter of of fact, since this is a sermon on prophecy, y'all don't mind if I take a minute and just speak against the drought. I want to cancel the drought. Are y'all with me? Yeah, yeah, and in a minute, by the time we finish, all of y'all will be comfortable. Y'all saying y'all saying go pastor, go prophesy. I'm in the middle of everything going on.

Joel, he comes, who holds this office, and he said this is what God is going to do. He's seen where you are, but you're not going to be where you are much longer. He says I'm about to restore you and he talks about restoration. And I want to talk about restoration. I feel that God brought some of you here today to be restored. You were brought to church today to be restored. Can you turn to somebody and say he's going to restore you today? Yeah, tell them like you mean it. Tell them like you mean it. Children, all my students in the room, young adults, tell somebody he's going to restore you today. Say he's going to restore you today. He's going to restore you today.

Speaker 2: 20:16

And after there was a restoration, there was a gift and I said God, I wonder why you restored them first before you gave them the gift? And I believe it's because there are some things that God wants to give us, but we got to be in the right posture to be able to receive it. Y'all know what I'm talking about. That's why the enemy want to keep some of us beat up and busted up, because he wants to keep us in a broken posture so that we can never receive the promises of the Lord. Us in a broken posture so that we can never receive the promises of the Lord. That's why we got to come out of our broken posture, so that we can get everything that God has for us. Matter of fact, we can no longer be in our buckets with holes in them. God is saying I'm trying to fill you up, I'm trying to do a new thing, but we got to fix the hole in the bucket. Y'all going to fix the hole in the bucket. Somebody say it's fixed in Jesus' name. Yeah, it's fixed in Jesus' name. It's fixed in Jesus' name. You got a hole in your bucket, I got a hole in my bucket, but guess what? We just declared by faith that it's fixed in Jesus' name. He restores them. But then he says this is what's going to happen after the restoration.

First, you're going to recover the years that were lost in the drought and I want to talk to some of you all that have lost some years in bad relationships. You lost some years in bad investments. You bought some years in unhealthy friendships. You lost some years in trauma bonds. Y'all familiar with trauma bonds when the connection that you have with somebody is simply because both of y'all busted and disgusted misery, love, company. That's why they stopped being your friend. When you got a boo thing, y'all was friends because both of y'all were saying and if you think, you're lonely now, I'm just being honest, I've been there.

I mean, I'm just being honest. The reason y'all were friends because both of y'all were broke. But you finally got a job. Now you can't hang out with the broke people, no more. And all of a sudden, now the bond is broken.

And how many of us have lost years because we were bonded with somebody by trauma? Yeah, so he said I'm going to restore the years. And then he said I'm going to restore everything that the locusts and the canker worm have devoured, because at that time, in the drought, the locusts and the canker worm had devoured everything in the natural. But I want to let y'all know that over the years y'all had some stuff that was devoured in the spirit realm, didn't you? You done lost yourself. That's why, that's why we are doing this uh women's conference and we're calling finding her. Finding her because, uh, uh, in the midst of being mother, in the midst of being mother, in the midst of being wife, in the midst of being CEO, in the midst of being nurse, in the midst of being teacher, you've lost the essence of who you are. But I just heard the Lord say that I'm about to start a recovery process. For all of the ladies in the room. I'm about to do something that's going to help you get back to the essence of who you are, beyond the title. You ought to give God a glory praise right on that. So he says I'm going to pour out my spirit after you recover. I'm going to pour my spirit on all flesh and then something's going to happen. It's in Joel, the second chapter. He said when I pour out my spirit like all flesh, and then something's going to happen, it's in Joel, the second chapter. He said when I pour out my spirit like this, he said you're going to the people, the men and women, sons and daughters, then say prophet, bishop, apostle, we believe in those offices for sure, evangelist. But he wasn't talking to them at that point. He talking to the person sitting in your seat. He said a day is coming. I'm gonna pour out my spirit on all flesh men, women, sons, daughters.

Keep in mind, at a time where women were thought to be lesser than at a time where women were often included, at a time where male hierarchy was just overwhelming, joelle heard an utterance from the Lord that talked to the men and the women, to the sons and the daughters, to the sons and the daughters, to the, to the peasant and the poor, to say that when I pour out my spirit on all flesh, you shall speak in tongues and do what Prophesy? That's the Bible, which is the reminder that prophecy is for Lottie, dottie and everybody. Who is it for? It's for everybody. Then the question is what should we prophesy?

Amos, the third chapter around verse eight, reminds us that God has declared that any move that he's about to make primarily related to that time, because I'm not saying that he shows us everything, because the Bible says we prophesy in parts. But what he was talking to with as relates to Amos, for that move that he was making in that season, he said every move I'm about to make I'm not going to, I won't make it unless I first reveal it to the prophets. The word of God reminds us that what we should prophesy is what God has revealed to us. We can never prophesy from our emotive place. We can never prophesy from what our feelings are. We got to prophesy what thus said the Lord James.

3, verse 10 reminds us that from the same mouth we got a problem. He said blessings and curses are flowing from the same mouth and he said these things are not to be so now, before you look at your neighbor who you caught in traffic using one of them four letter words, believe it or not. I'm not supporting saying we should talk like that, but that's not really the cursing that the Bible is talking about. The cursing is talking about what the Psalms, or the Proverbs declare, is that death and life lie in the power of the tongue. So watch this, proverbs. Thank you, man of God. So check this out. That means I curse my future by the things that come out of my own mouth. I curse my future when I say stuff like I'm tired and I can't do this anymore. Here it is. I'm not talking about an honest fatigue situation. I'm talking about a fed up situation and what out of your mouth, instead of saying help me, you said I can't do it anymore. We curse our future when we say language like it is what it is, because that curse language suggests that you don't have the authority to change the situation. We curse our children when, because of the limitations on us, we put those same limitations on them. We curse whenever we say something that is negative in comparison to focus on what thus saith the Lord about a situation the reality of it is. Can I just tell you how I feel it.

The body of Christ has been doing a whole lot of cussing since there has been a change of a of a occupancy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Did you hear what I said? Somebody said that's right, pastor, I cuss every morning about it, but I'm here to tell you there's got to be a shift. Somebody said there's got to be a shift. God ain't never told you to spend your time or your preaching, proclaiming or cursing. He said that we have to spend our time speaking out of our mouth, the thing that we need to come to pass. That's called being prophetic.

Prophetic means, god, since you control. The Bible says since you control the head and the heart of the king, god, I speak that whoever is in that white house is going to follow your will and your way, god, god, since you said that you control the authority figure, I'm not going to curse my supervisor anymore. I'm going to speak blessings upon them because, god, you're going to show them how to lead with compassion. You're going to show them how to lead with kindness. I'm not going to cuss out my baby daddy anymore. God, I'm going to speak healing into his life, because the reason he has issues is because he has not healed from what hurt him. I'm not going to cuss out my baby mama anymore. I'm going to speak a blessing into her life that God protect her because, after all, she is the mother of my children, regardless of how she treats me. I'm going to start speaking a blessing, as God has given me utterance.

Can I ask you a question right now? What is it that you're dealing with in your own life that you've been cussing about? But there has to be a shift right now. Somebody say there's got to be a shift right now. Oh, I want to give you about 15 seconds to speak a blessing right now Out of your own mouth. Somebody say, out of your own mouth, you shall live and not die. I want to talk to the person in the room that was worried about cancer. The Lord is saying, in Jesus name you shall live and not die. I want to talk to the person right now that is dealing with a mental health issue that your mind shall be restored, god. I want to come right now in the name of Jesus for somebody that's having sleep issues and I want to declare in Jesus name that you shall sleep good tonight.

I wish I had some people that understand that what I prophesy is what I hear from the Lord. Who shall prophesy? Lottie, dottie and everybody? What should we prophesy? What is God saying about the thing that has been keeping you up at night? What is God saying about the thing that has been messing with your blood pressure? What is God saying about the thing that has been messing with your blood pressure? What does God think about saying about the thing that has been dealing with your bothering your mental health? Whatever he's saying about it, somebody ought to say speak, lord. You ought to ask God for a download right now. Y'all praying with me. You ought to ask God for a download right now. There's a download in the house right now. There's a download in the house right now. You ought to pray right now. God, speak like only you can. Amen. Thank you, music. Thank you right there.

Who should prophesy? Everybody. What should we prophesy? What God has deposited within us? Can I say this plainly? I've taught this at Bible study. Some of you all may have not caught it, but I need to say this in the spirit. You can kill that right there, musician. Thank you, check this out. I want, I want you to.

I went to a training once on on a prophetic and I said man, I'm going to see if this training is going to be good or is going to be kind of spooky. You know, see what they're talking about. And I went into this training and in this training, can we kill that noise please? In this training this man talked about how he had invited a pastor to the church and the pastor was very prophetic. He said. The pastor got up and said there is a church mother that is not here because she's in the hospital. He called out the sickness that she had, he called out the hospital that she was in and, if I remember the training correctly, he even called a room number. So at this point everybody lit, everybody turned up, and this church is one that has some technology, so they were able to call her in in some capacity, get her on the screen. And he got on the screen and he said woman of God, you're dealing with such and such and so, and so Church went up again because the man of God was right. And then the man of God then he said he said the Lord is saying that in two weeks you shall be healed. And the church went up, paul, because the church took that as the man was saying that in the natural, on this side, she would experience healing. And two weeks later she was dead. And so that family went to the pastor and said the prophet said that my mama was going to live and she died.

And the moral of the training was his heart was in the right place, but when he was trying to get a download from the Lord, it was the wires got crossed because he started started to prophesy not what God was saying but what he desired. Y'all walking with me and I want to talk to some people in the room and say we're going to embrace being a prophetic church we got to be careful not to get our wires crossed and make sure that we're hearing what God is saying and not always necessarily what we desire. Does that make sense? Because it's not that God doesn't give us the desires of our hearts. But we got to understand that God's thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways, and the way that he is going to fix it is going to be on his time and in his way. But we got to be careful to make sure that I'm hearing what God is saying and that's my prayer for y'all today that you will get to the posture today, not tomorrow. Today, that you understand what God is saying, even when you don't like it.

What should we prophesy? What God is saying? Where should we prophesy, is an amazing question that we should ask. I was reminded of the prophetic encounter that Ezekiel had. Ezekiel, I believe around the 37th chapter, was trying to help the people of God to be restored and to be renewed, and the Bible says the spirit took Ezekiel down to the valley of dry bones. Where do I prophesy? In the valley? What's the valley? That job you don't like? What's the valley? That family reunion that you don't want to go to? No more. What's the valley that that person at church you don't like sitting by too much? You try to escape out the back door, so you ain't gotta pretend to be churchy today.

What's the valley? The valley is the place where you can find a red light, if you know. You know, um. The valley is the place where um sometimes there's. You know, the valley is the place where sometimes there's substance abuse. The valley is the place where sometimes people have money but they don't have God. The valley is the place where sometimes people have God but they don't have money. The valley is the place where the depression and anxiety run loose. The valley is the place where where dreams go to die. The valley is the place where the enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy.

And some of you are familiar with the valley because the valley is literally the place where you last believe God for your breakthrough. The valley is the place that was the last time you went to church. You left church and went to the valley and some of you hadn't been back, but God brought you back today. I praise God that he brought you back today. You hadn't been in church in a while, but he brought you back today because he will meet us in the valley. The valley is the place of foreclosure. The valley is the place of high interest rates. The valley is the place of wars, rumors of wars, earthquake of high interest rates. The valley is the place of wars, rumors of wars, earthquake, pestilence and disease. The valley is the place of a COVID-19 pandemic that kept us out of church for a while.

Where do I prophesy? I prophesy in the valley. Now, here it is. You got to understand. To help me out and to help you out, you got to see the valley. Matter of fact, help me, holy Ghost. I need every person under the sound of my voice right now to see the valley. God, give them a vision of the valley. God, you said that in these last days that not only would we prophesy, that we'd have vision and dream dreams. God, give them a vision of the valley. I want every person in the room right now to close your eyes because God is about to show you your valley. Yeah, I want you to see your own valley. I got a vision of a valley. I got a vision of a valley where some dead stuff is. I got a vision of a valley where some struggle is. I'm not trying to look at your valley right now, I'm trying to look at mine. Do you see your own valley Because, if we're going to be honest, every person in the room got a valley. I don't care how much money you got, I don't care how many people you know, I don't care how famous you are Every last one of us got a valley.

Are your eyes closed? Do you see your valley? Do you see it? Do you see your valley? If you see your valley, say I see it. Pastor, say I see it. Okay, when you see your valley, this is what God says. This is going to help somebody, for those that are going to participate, blessed. So close your eyes and see your own valley. That's your problem right now. You want to fix your own problems, but the Lord has said I got something for you, but you got to stop being hard-headed. Close your eyes and see the valley. When you see the valley, somebody said that's somebody's valley right there. They won't listen. When you see the valley, he said he takes them to the valley, dead dreams in the valley, takes them to the valley. The bones are dry and the thing about dry bones would suggest that it's been dead a long time. And I want to talk to somebody that got something that's been dead a long time, man. You gave up on having children a long ago, you gave up on being an entrepreneur a long time ago. And he's in this valley and God asked him this question. He asked you the question First. He says son of man, meaning that I'm now not addressing you as your title, I'm not addressing you as how the community knows you. I'm addressing you in the pure essence of who you are, which is my child. He's like saying child of God, my child, my beloved. So God is talking to you right now. If your eyes are closed, he's talking to you. He's talking to you right now. He's asking you a question, like he asked Ezekiel. He says son of man, can these bones live? In other words, can this dream come back? Is it too late for what I've been praying to God for? And I enjoy Ezekiel's answer? Are y'all still in the valley? You looking at the thing, you looking at your valley, you looking at his breakthrough. It's a deliverance about to happen in here. It's about to happen in about two or three minutes. He's looking at the valley and he's looking at everything that has died around him. He's looking at the fact that he still has struggles from being a man that's trying to follow God and feeling isolated. Now I see you in the valley. Now I don't see Ezekiel, I see you. I see somebody who's still dealing with the pain of losing a parent. I see somebody that's still losing from the pain of a failed relationship. I see your valley. I see the pain of somebody that's been in somebody else's shadow for so long. You are support to everybody else and you're just trying to do what God has called you to do. I see you in the valley and God asks you the question can these bones live? In other words, is restoration possible? Is healing possible, is deliverance possible? And Ezekiel responds like this. He says God, only you know the answer to this. And the more I studied Ezekiel's response, I realized how powerful that was, because Ezekiel was honest to say God, these dead bones are bigger than I can ever handle. These dead bones are bigger than I can handle on my own. I need to stay in the valley. Stay in the valley. But you know y'all still in the valley, you still in your own valley. You know real talk.

There's somebody in the room. You're a caregiver for your loved one and it's draining everything that's in you. But you know what's on the other side of this. There's someone that's been praying for your young adult child to come back into the ark of safety, to come back to the Lord, and you're not sure how it's going to turn out, but you like, but you know. And there's somebody that has not told anybody how depressed you really are and you don't really know what's going to happen on the other side. But all you're saying is God, I don't know, but you know. And another side, but all you're saying is God, I don't know, but you know and you know. When you pray like that, you know what God does.

All of a sudden, now you got a new battalion and they got their strength back, they got their joy back, they got their mojo back and I want to prophesy the chosen city church. I see you standing back up. I see the pieces coming back together. I see it about to work out for you. I see a transformation coming your way. But the way it's going to happen is whatever comes out of your mouth. I think we're almost there, but I need it to come out of your belly. I needed to come out of your mouth that God is about to do something in the midst of my valley.

I need you to start prophesying, start to speak a word into their life. Start to prophesy until the atmosphere changes. Start to prophesy until they ain't comfortable acting that way around you. I wish I had some people that believed in the prophetic that God is going to use me to change some stuff. Yeah, who should prophesy Everybody? Who should prophesy everybody. What do we prophesy? What god has downloaded into us. Where do we prophesy? In the valley? When do we prophesy now? It's getting late in the evening and the sun is going down.

In the book of chronicles it talked about these sons and daughters of issachar who understood the signs of the times. And because they were prophetic and understood the signs of the times, they would often their prayer posture would shift based on what was going on in the world. Because they understood the signs of the times, they would warn Israel when it was a time to fight and go into battle, and they would warn Israel when it was time not to fight because God was not sanctioned in that particular battle. I want to talk to some people in the room and let you know that part of being prophetic is you got to understand the signs of the times. When we did a morning inspiration earlier this week, on Wednesdays, as we do, I said this. I said if you know where you are, you will get to the place that God will have you to be.

They understood the signs of the times and being prophetic requires us to understand the signs of the times.

What season are you in Brother John? What season are you in Deacon Bailey? What season are you in? You got to understand the signs of the times. What season is this country in? What season is this city in? We got this city in. We got to understand the time, signs of the times so that we can operate with the it's a car type anointing while we understand the reality of where we are, so we can get to the place that God will have us to be. And the Lord told me to tell you that some of y'all that should be getting ready this week. And the Lord told me to tell you that some of y'all that should be getting ready this week because your honesty is about to open a door that has been closed for a long time. I pray you can receive that in the spirit. Your honesty is about to open a door that's been closed a long time and God is saying I was just waiting for you to be real about where you was so that I can bring you out, and I need somebody to understand that your breakthrough is on the way. Because of what is coming out of your mouth, can I ask you to help me again in the sermon and just say out loud if you know where are you? Yeah, where are you?

Acts 14, verse 3 is the text that tells us that prophecy is given for edification, exhortation and comfort. Prophecy is given for edification, exhortation and comfort. Prophecy is given. Why do we prophesy For exhortation, edification and comfort? When you look at the word edification, it is a derivative of the word edifice. Everybody know what an edifice is. Back in the day I remember pastors and stuff we say we, we welcome these amazing prognosticators of the gospel who've come to our beautiful edifice with a word from the Lord. What's the edifice? A building. So what God is saying is you are in a season we are trying to build and prophecy is given to help the builder and prophecy is given to help the builder. The word edifice to edify is that God is giving you a word from heaven to help you build whatever it is that he's called you to build. Does that make sense? So check this out.

Your business plan is in the edification. Your business plan and the breakthrough is in your ability to speak these things as though they were. The prophetic is not spooky. It's giving to us to help us to build. And as we try to build this church and build back souls, I'm thankful for every prophet that has come through these walls, especially during the time of holy consecration, to remind us to keep on keeping on. Can I encourage a builder right now to keep on keeping on? And I'm trying to encourage you to be able to speak to whatever it is that you're trying to build. Can I ask you what are you trying to build? What are you trying to do? What's your mouth saying about whatever it is that you're trying to do.

Prophecy is given for us to build, but then prophecy is given for exhortation bill, but then prophecy is given for exhortation. When you look at the word exhortation in its original language, it's the word paraklesis. Paraklesis used in the book of john, talking about the holy spirit being our comforter and our guide, the one who walks alongside us as the paraclete. So whether you're talking about paracletes or paraclete, when I prophesy, you know what I'm doing. I'm invoking the Holy Ghost into the midst of my problem, in the midst of my pain, y'all walking with me. That's why the enemy don't want us to come to church and talk about the prophetic, because as long as you stay in your pain and dealing with your pain by yourself, you in trouble. But the moment you start to prophesy, you've invited the Holy Ghost to come alongside you. And now, all of a sudden, the fight is fixed in your favor.

And I want to talk to somebody in the room that's that's unafraid to embrace the prophetic and say that your mouth is about to fix the fight in your favor. Did you hear what I said? I speak victory into somebody's life now, simply because you were willing to open your mouth. Here it is.

And I had to be honest with myself and realize the truth of the matter is that there are some things about my wife that I'll never understand. I'll never understand what sometimes cause her pain. I'll never understand why she gets so frustrated. But since I can't always be the best at understanding, what I can give my darling wife is that I give unto her. I give unto you, oh wife, if you ever learn to open your mouth and to prophesy, if you ever learn that, what happens is that when your husband can't understand you, that your God understands everything about you can't understand you, that your God understands everything about you. He says the very hairs on your head are unnumbered. He says that I made you in my image. He says that I'm going to use you in ways that are beyond the usual, but all you got to do is open your mouth. And if you open your mouth, the authority that is within you will bubble up and there will be an overflow and there will be an answer to every unanswered question.

I need some people on this room that trust God right now. I need you to open your mouth. I need you to start speaking to the atmosphere. Charge the atmosphere with your prayer. Charge the atmosphere with your belief. I need some people on this side of the room. Charge the atmosphere with your prayers belief. I need some people on this side of the room. Charge the atmosphere with your prayers. Charge the atmosphere with your belief. I need to hear your mouth. Hold on, we're going to take the musician out because I want to pastor you now.

I don't want to shout you today. I want to pastor you today and I'm here to tell you the reason that some of you are not getting what you need because you won't open your mouth. You're stiff-necked and hard-headed. You're stubborn. I'm trying to help somebody. I have zero interest in entertaining you. I have zero interest in making you feel good. I'm trying to challenge your religiosity and I'm trying to tell you you keep doing what you've been doing, you're going to get the same results. I'm trying to tell you you keep doing what you've been doing, you're gonna get the same results. I'm trying to tell you that God brought you here because he loves you, but there has to be a shift in you. You can sit on this prophetic moment if you want to, but the Lord is saying don't come crying to me next week asking why things are still the same. He said I give me, you an opportunity to open your mouth. I've given you an opportunity to open your mouth. The presence of the Holy Ghost is in this room. Everything that you need is in the house. But God is saying open your mouth. God, I come against the enemy right now who is keeping some mouths closed. I come against the enemy right now who is trying to keep somebody distracted. Because you understand God, and the enemy understands that if they ever open their mouth and they begin to decree and to declare in the name of Jesus. There will be a shift in the house.

Right now I want to talk to some men and a woman in the house. Men of God, I need you to open your mouth, but today I don't need you to yell. This is what I need you to do. I need you to start to articulate a sentence as it relates to what you want God to do. I need you to articulate a full, complete sentence. I don't care if your subject and verbs don't agree. I just need you to get to the posture of opening your mouth, because the presence of the Lord is in the room and the Lord is saying if they open their mouth, I'm going to answer their cry. He says ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find Now every man in the room that believes God, every man in the room. I need it on the count of three. You're going to say a complete sentence for yourself or a complete sentence for your family One, two, three.

As a man of articulated sentence, I need every strong woman of God in the room, every strong woman of God in the room. He's seen your tears, he's heard your well, but now he needs to hear your prophetic utterance. You need to prophesy. Ask God, what should you say? And let it flow from your belly. So there's nothing spooky going on here. We just going with the word, and the world said if I prophesy for edification, for for exhortation and for comfort, it'll shift. Now, on the count of three, I need every woman in the room to say loudly a sentence as it relates to what you want to shift, what you need to shift One, two, three.
